er give me a break, i dont mean to flame but EvE is PvP if you dont like that then go play another game.

eve with out pvp, or without carebears just wouldnt work.
pvp server: ppl would need ships with noone to build em

One server would have a bunch of carebears on it that would get bored, then whine even more when they got ganked on the PvP server. Due to the lack of destroyed ships and equipment, the market would gradually inflate to an unreasonable level. Basic equipment and High-end T2 gear would be almost the same price. People would complain that corps of PvE'ers were always camping the same spawns, never letting newer players near. That would leave most people camping crappy spawns or mining, which would wear out quickly and people would cancel their subscriptions after about 3 months on average. This would further inflate the market, and since more people would be leaving than coming, CCP would start losing money. They would start e-mailing people that had quit, offering them free Skills, SP, or ISK to try to get them to come back. When that failed, after about 6 months, EVE would sunset and CCP would go under.
Everything in bold is exactly what happened to Earth and Beyond, by the way.

Wow, I've only been playing a short while, but this really is a topic that seems to come up a lot.
Like, not so much one a week, as one every day or two.
I've not done much PvP. But I think it's an integral part of the game. Without it, it just wouldn't be the same, to the point where it'd wreck the game.
Seriously, fun comes from having a challenge. Where's the challenge when you're always 100% safe?
Might as well play eve-offline, with just a 'click for isks' button.

To the OP: How would you remove PvP anyway?
Prevent people placing buy or sell orders, so they can only sell to NPCs? Might as well remove the BPs then, too.
What about the asteroids? They're finite. Level 4 mining missions spawning you a Deadspace filled with Crokite? 
What would people actually do on this server? Why would they bother? Couldn't they just play Freespace or I-War instead?
Just because you don't shoot people, and avoid getting shot as much as possible doesn't mean you don't PvP.
And hell, I don't pay much for minerals but I do outbid the NPCs...

80% of the players would move to the non/consentual fighting server and the other 20% would spend the next 6 years talking about how "carebears" ruined the game when in reality it was thier own inabilty to curb their bloodlust and incessant smacktalk.
