I know these things come and go over the years, so I'm curious if there's a good one going right now. If not, then I'd like to use this thread to put one together including some up to date guides and resources. I'm sitting down to a long haul at the trading game after being away from Eve for a while, and I'd like to do a little something on the side. In addition, I really enjoyed helping people in my NPC corp, surprisingly, and would like to continue that with noob traders. I think there are enough existing materials that there's no need to make anything new, rather it is a matter of finding a few of the best and most up to date guides, and then adding whatever bulk channels, market tools, etc are active right now. Also, if there isn't a good channel right now, I'd appreciate some other old hands who are around and like helping to take some turns in the channel when they are on and feel up to it. Thanks is advance for any help. Be back to check the thread tomorrow.

This is what I've knocked together so far. All input and help is welcome. Syndicate Rookie Trader The Syndicate Rookie Trader channel is a help channel designed specifically for new traders. All questions are welcome no matter how new you are to Eve or trading. Please follow the link in the Message of the Day at the top of the channel to find a wealth of up to date rookie trader resources. The channel is unmoderated as long as questions are getting answered. If your conversation is interrupting the flow of answers, please take it to a private chat. Otherwise, people are free to do what they want. Feel free to make deals with each other, but don't spam. The Syndicate takes no responsibility for transactions undertaken in whole or in part on this channel, so do so at your own risk. We are aiming for 23.5/7 veteran trader/moderator coverage. This channel has been a big success so far. We've helped a lot of people through those really difficult first few steps, and everyone has been very appreciative and are now addicted to trading. We have also had a lot of drop-ins who just need a quick piece of advice or question answered before they're back off on their own again. There is also now a great regular crew of traders hanging around and having fun. If you find yourself stuck at some point or don't know what to do next, do not hesitate to drop by and ask us anything. Trading can be very hard to get a grasp of, but a little guidance and then it's easy and fun money.
