A steady trickle of people need help and guidance still, though I do feel we've cleared a big group of people that have been interested in trading for a long time but never had the place to learn. We're always happy to answer questions and give advice, and there is a community of regulars if people just need a place to hang while playing...though they are rather odd people... Thanks to everyone who has helped contribute so far or put in a good word here. I am very satisfied with the success of this channel, and I have every intention of continuing it as a service to the community in perpetuity.

Inspiration has hit me in the face with the bat of insight and drive, so I haven't had much time for or interest in Eve this week. I hope some of the less creepy denizens of the channel have been helping people out in my absence. That said, all I want to do this weekend is veg out, so there's a very good chance that you can catch me online and ready to offer some guidance this weekend. Don't sit there struggling and pulling at your hair; trading in Eve is weird, and a little bit of guidance at the start goes a long way.

One of the main points I push is that a lot of trading is just getting out there and finding out what works for you. I never got it off the ground, but maybe we could do some grand joint venture thing on improving MD and access to source material and things of this nature? It just becomes practically impossible over time to the best of my knowledge. Too many hints leak out and then its a matter of skill and will to actually figure out who people are. In my experience most EVE players are really nice people even though they are pretty good at being periodically jerks. Would you maybe be interested in then putting some writings together for the lounge blog, on the topic, maybe just something a bit simplified and more directly related to the EVE universe? Its here: scc-lounge.net The reason it looks slightly neglected is there have been a fall out of participants, and I just crawled back in pod actively a while ago.

That would be a very interesting topic, especially if angled towards how to promote similar behaviour on smller scales? Like how to catalyze the emergent formation of a hub. Usually the individuals and groups proactive influence is highly underrated by most articles and commentary on hub formation history.
