I must apologize to RIP corp. We have been busy in other theatres of action, yes one of em involves violent actions against roids by none other then wheelchair man...
However it is my understanding that with our forces occupied in other areas that you are out in force in our space.
I have several questions in regards to this:
1)We know you have several contracts out, none against IMP forces... how can you provide services to your clients when they pay you to kill something or 'trap' it and be 'in force' within IMP space?
2)You come 'in force' into our space and present 'real' targets... why couldnt you do this when we are actually online in the area? and part B to the same question: why couldnt you do this when official war was declared against us?
Simple questions(statements) to facts that we have seen, which should have somewhat simple answers.
Remember, entering Sovreign space without permission and without a war declaration is an act of piracy.

Hmm I can't see any smacktalk in the initial thread. Its basically the poster asking RIP what they are doing in IMP space and that IMP consider it as piracy. Nowhere does the poster say that RIP SUXORS or that IMP ROXORS. Its a simple roleplayed thread that should have been spared all the flaming. And Colonel Kassad, mind posting with our main?

I have nothing against [5] posting their opinions on the forums, but for once, can't they do it without have to insult everyone and their dog in an overt manner.

So smacktalk presented in a 'subtle' way is not flaming? It might be more readable, but it is just as flaming, if not more because of the inherent arrogance, as your 'normal' smack talk.
And the fact that you try to smear all of [5] with your 'fact stating' about [5] never ever post anything but smack is a testement to your hate towards or dislike of [5]. Generalisation is just as bad as flaming. When you generalise you put everone on the same level, and that is usually a VERY simplistic view, and ALWAYS a very wrong view. For every smack talker in [5] you can find a smack talker in each and every other alliance, and trying to deny it is plain ignorance. And for every smack talker in [5] you can find 10 or more other pilots in [5] that never smacks and can have a non-biased, down to earth pleasent conversation in local with their respective enemies, if the enemies are of the same caliber and doesn't resort to smack either.
But your generalisation neglegt to reckonise that, and therefore with your arrogance, you are implicit smacktalking the rest of [5] by calling them smack talkers.

Lol sorry man. I seem to be posting a lot of stuff recently where I miss out very imporatant letters. Didnt see that at all.
As to the topic at hand, I'm not generalising [5] at all. I say that because most of the flames and unnecessary comments from [5] seem to come from a select few uber-smackers and the rest seem pretty reasonable. For example I would say BOS seem to be very decent people. SURPM for the most part seem to be the same, except for a couple of fools who seem to take the insults to new and unheard of levels. And ATUK, their entire corp seems to be hell bent on flaming people ingame and out. Infact, I haven't seen a single thread or post on the entire forums where they have actually complimented people. Its always stroking each others e-peen. And SHIRA don't talk much on teh forums, they are usually very biased but keep the smack quotient pretty low. The last member of [5] (Can't rememebr their name), seem to not post on the forums at all, so I have nothing against them.
Its not that people are saying they suck because they are bad at fighting, people are saying they suck because they continuously flame everyone for no reason otehr than the fact they they arent on their +10 list.

ok, this is IMP vs RIP, not [5] against whatever you can throw at us. I dont see how this thread has anything remotely to do with [5] anyways?
atleast not the original post...
if anyone just mention the number 5 on this forum and all hell break loose. please just chill out. 
edit: and yes, I have been a forum flamer and whatever else, but these days I have seen that its better to not post at all instead of posting a flame. I suggest others should realize that too!

Its been a slow day at the office so spent far too much time reading these forums and adding comments and sub comments
There does seem to be a double standard here, if certain corps post or start a topic "it is seen as they are smack talking" "saying they are uber, everyone else sucks"
But other corps posts then it is seen as a reasonable post with valid points - I believe people see the person or corp and write a quick reply without actually reading the original post.
Yes all corps have smak talkers and they are most likley in the minority of the corp, you will most likely find most corps discourage smak talking in local ours does but generalisations spring up and for most of the part they are untrue and are certainly unhelpful.
EVE is a game we play because we enjoy it - writing in forums is to express our opinions but people use it to ram their views down peoples throats.

Since you want specific names, How about ATUK. They throw around the most unbelievably unnecessary personal smacktalk ingame and on teh forums. Its all well and good to say you dont encourage smacking. But when it comes to action, you seem to be seriously lacking. You seem to forget it's a game a lot more often than other people.

Stormfront - it seems you only have to make a neutral comment about the weather and it is seen as flaming.
Flaming it seems is about number of comments rather than what the comment was

There are people in every corp that smack talk. Just because ATUK are high profile, it makes it ok to bring up there name everytime?
Infact, people tend to ignore the fact that I have been flamed and asked to die by members of PA. Despite not smacking them at all. All because we ganked 3 of there BS that were ratting and mining within 10 mins of each other.
After pointing this out, no one seems to be going after PA for smacking. Heck I had to put the guy on block after he evemails me letting me know that he "meant it too".
I really dont care for smack, I can learn to take it, and I can dish out if the need be. But what I hate are people that walk around with a snobbish atitude and talking about holding some morals.
"Its a game", smack is part of it. Deal

Just a quick note, this post by insane angel was flamebait. You chose to ignore it, and even try and justify/support it because its subtle? That is hypocrisy dear friend.
You cannot be selective in your views towards flame, if you don't like it then be willing to accept that others do it too, even your friends and allies. From what I gather, you have a personal vendetta against the [5] and will ignore all else.
