Edited by: Stormfront on 03/06/2005 15:38:11 Unfortunately, I wont be playing the game much this month due to RL issues and inavailability of comp with game client. So I'm gonna be on the forums quite a bit

Originally by: Stormfront There are people in every corp that smack talk. Just because ATUK are high profile, it makes it ok to bring up there name everytime?
Infact, people tend to ignore the fact that I have been flamed and asked to die by members of PA. Despite not smacking them at all. All because we ganked 3 of there BS that were ratting and mining within 10 mins of each other.
After pointing this out, no one seems to be going after PA for smacking. Heck I had to put the guy on block after he evemails me letting me know that he "meant it too".
I really dont care for smack, I can learn to take it, and I can dish out if the need be. But what I hate are people that walk around with a snobbish atitude and talking about holding some morals.
"Its a game", smack is part of it. Deal
Who told you to die? I certainly would be on your side if someone asked you to die because they lost a couple ships ingame. I didnt know about it and didn't see it if you did post about it on teh forums.
All I'm sayin is that, it's ok to insult peopel as long as you keep it within limits and dont have to resort to filtered words. Saying someone ran away even tho when they had more ships than the attacker, is fine. Saying they are a bunch of scum sucking cowrads who blah blah blah... is what annoys people.
Why dont you just DIE DIE DIE !!!!

Its all well and good to say you dont encourage smacking. But when it comes to action, you seem to be seriously lacking. You seem to forget it's a game a lot more often than other people.
Whaaa, ATUK smacks. Excuse me, but I remember very well when we were first in BKG months ago before the collapse of CA, GODS were the biggest smackers in the game I have ever seen at that time. Presidio and his night crew would use a log æONÆ trap, kill an unexpected BS and then smack some of the most vulgar and obscene crap I have ever seen for 15 minutes and then log off. So before you go blaming ATUK for smacking you, take a look within, Mr. hypocrite. Have you EVER seen me smack in game? Yea, I thought so. And all the smack I do on the forums is because of the people like you that take jabs at us because you canÆt beat us in game. At least we back up our smack.
If you want to fight [5] just look at out killboard to find us. If only people had balls to come to our space when we are actually there to fight. Unfortunately, they all wait until we head out on a campaign to come to our space. Have fun pirating æfriends of ATUKÆ IMP, you tough guys. WeÆll be back in time for you to run back to your space and claim victory. Very brave, Insane Angel. Your intel however seams to be lacking, since you donÆt even know that we are fighting your allies in their space. Again. Check our killboard if you want some of the plague, hey?
The truth will set you free

Wasn't meant for me specifically, just our gang of 12 frigs that killed his BS. Names Servo from PA. Dying due to aids and being "syliptic" etc etc. Some choice words tbh. Was funny to read. Reminds me of that video that myg0t made about the player on CS who goes nuts and guns down people in school cuz he got killed in game. Scary tbh, that such people actually play this game.

Darken two that is the first thing you said I agree with. Abusing people is totally not on, a little jesting is fine but to get messages I am going to kill you which a few of us in corp have recieved is just plain wrong.

Im sorry but that's bs.
I've been part of several corps that are very much anti-smack, and a huge number of fights and battles which have finished without any kind of smack in local. Just because it's a game being played over the internet shouldn't mean everyone has to act like *snip*. imo.

Ok, the whole CELES thing started when one of our guys recieved a evemail or convo from Nums of CELES calling him/us pussies(alt name for cat if this gets screened). Granted that it got out of hand on the forums after a bit. Rest assured, I do not have any personal issues with anyone in CELES. Before that engagement, I had jumped into HED knowing there were 3 hostiles (CELES) in it. They engaged my Raven, Not sure if they had tackles, but I made the enyo warp and then warped out myself after being attacked by a Zealot and another BS. I got called a coward, I responded by calling him a****. When it became apparent that he was only kidding around, I promptly apologised to him/them. I will flame if I so desire or feel that I have a right to. But I do not as far as possible make it a personal thing.

Then bring it out man. Petition them, tell everyone they did it. If it's only you giving back as good as you got, then noone would blame you. We might all be in different corps but I like to think we all have a few things in common like decency for example.

And I have fought your people on several occasions across atleast 2 alliances and recieved smack from both. Your point might be valid, but holds little water because it lacks backup/substantiation regarding these alliances/corps actually being able to control all the members in it. Letting out your frustration in some smack in local doesn't hurt anyone. Playing sports often ends up with someone getting ****ed at another and a small tiff may ensue. Its not unhealthy. As long as it doesnt get out of hand. That is part of the game and keeping emotions in check is not always possible. Not even for the best amongst us.

The thread changed after Insane Angel voiced his views on people smaking other people in one thread about CELES and SUPREMACY then he starts his own smak thread.
total hypocrise on his part - then it seems that when you talk smak everyone jumps in and accuses 5 of being the biggest smak talkers in game.
The original thread was Ohmite statement of what happened, all fact no smak and then all hell let lose, accustation that everyone sucks if you post a comment on a thread.

My original post isnt flamebait, but yet it brings out the best of the forum wh***s.... why?
More then anything threatened, but we understand.
Simple questions were asked, no answers were given.

Nah, I just happened to surf the pages and saw one about Supremacy and was trying to figure out why 'Supreme' is root word in a corp of miners claiming to pvpers.
Smack aside take your anger elsewhere, and dont whine on my thread.

The guy in question lost his apoc, in a system where there was 4 BS in the system, and we killed all of them with a gang of like 10 frigs and 1 BS. So it was some gfs, and we are having some friendly banter in local, nebba challenging another tempest pilot to a 1v1, and then we see this:

Metal Dude> Sorry I didnt see the reply, I skimmed.
In response: Yep, we are killing the slaves of ATUK and the slaves of the other corps. Its fun, they are easy targets and have paid for alot of my new stuff I have in game... so I thank you.
In addidtion I dont watch killboards, I trust no-one but my alliance m8s because too many people will lie or fabricate(spelling) kills. And I am still laughing at how my brothers in [G] went on a Shinra/Atuk pwning spree when the 'invasion' came.
I do use evekills to keep track of my own kills and deaths for personal perspective.
To keep on track and keep relevence(sp) to my original post: How does a merc corp, or one that claims to be, keep its clients happy and perform the services required when they dont perform those services because the target decides to stay docked?
Truly I am curious. As someone who employs vendors to perform tasks, if they dont perform their duties I fire them and from word of mouth I inform sister companies and the like about the ineptitude of the vendor to perform simple tasks.

Where was such 'pwning spree'? I'd love to know, as we have close to 100 confirmed bs kills this week alone. ofc, whatever kills they have had, were because they, like you, lack the manhood to jump into us, thus always making us engage first and fall victim to game lag. I would say 90%+ of [5] losses have been replaced. Irregardless, you are now the American Aneu.

Which invasion was this? The FA one, where Shinra/ATUK made you cry and leave FA to go hide in VOTF and cry on Xirtams shoulder, because your little boddies in FA got schooled so hard that they had to sell of their regions to the aggressors?
And for you to 'try' to sound sincere and all by 'asking' legit questions, is really pathethic. All you are trying to do is stir things up and smack talk. And for me to even have to point it out, makes me feel like I jumped into your trap and you are laughing at me for stating something so obvious.
