While we have enjoyed our holidays, Black Legion has broken off its defense of Solar and slunk home to Venal, where Elo Knight has ganged up with fellow travellers 401K - most notable for containing many ex-BoB corps and Sir Molle - and have begun chewing on CFC towers in the area. These towers might just be the odd plat or tech moon, but we are bored and it is time to overreact badly and with crushing force over the next few weeks, which has absolutely nothing to do with my eternal, seething hatred of anything with an Evolution corp ticker.
The Crayon Wars will be coming to end this evening. FCON/SMA called in the rest of the 40k players to help with the squatters in Venal. I would also like to point out that this ping from mittani is not 100 percent accurate. Its more propaganda to give CFC its motivation to log in and play Eve.
I would like to leave you with a video from last night. But first a little back story.
We were foruming up for our late OP for a plat tower coming out of reinforcement. CFC sent a bunch of scrubs in to K3J to stop us from killing a tower that 100 CFC were guarding. We undocked, warped around until we could get everyone out of the station, warped to the titan and bridged in.
You can see the results in a previous post of mine, however, watching something is a bit more entertaining. I present you with Ron Mexxicos version of the events from his ship.
Please sit back and enjoy this awesome Video.
Elo is not dead, its an ongoing joke in BL when he isnt there to lead fleets.

As a former IRC FC I can say that razor could never have taken a system without the assistance of their 13 bezzie mates. Fighting razor is fun and it's to and fro. But the issue for IRC is that every time they wished to properly commit to a fight daddy goon sends in the boys. So from that point onwards fighting them in any way other than the odd scuffle is pointless.
Ultimately I left IRC due to irreconcilable differences to high command. I believe enforcement of participation is important however their opinion is ratting away during ops is fine so long as NOBODY EVER TALKS IN LOCAL!!!!! Far too many utterly useless corps who are only allowed in because they line the pockets of the command. I even spoke with Oldma regards these corps "Yes I agree"......weeks pass and nothing.
In the HB- final fight I wanted to fight on the gate. We were in Ahacs so we needed to be in brawling range. FIGHT ON STATION I am told. Well to hell with that noise and we are having more fun now in Nulli.
Thats a real tldr with many deeper issues untouched, but the fact is IRC is a very well administrated alliance. Leadership however is all but absent.
Much love

D'awwww...I bet you're just sad because we don't have all black crayons in our box, like you do. :3
Wouldn't discussing the weapons of war constitute discussing matters of the war? Or is this whole thread just about accruing points on your invisible score-board of how you're beating Branch residents? I can see the former allowing us to converse like adults, while the latter is just childish and sad.
Also, the Sky Team makes me frown...almost as much as you do, Roddy. Every time I post is Pardy time! :3 |

The "hate" or "childish" responses are due to the actions of your Branch Co. Leadership. You guys talk a lot of crap about doing stuff on your own and the "cleansing Venal of squatters" was suppose to be your big "Coming Out" party. Doing stuff on your own and proving to the rest of the CFC that you can defend your own assets in NCP space. Your alliance meetings have been full of "Doing this with only BRANCH CO., FCON will be leading, Support from SMA and LAWN'. Now fast forward 2 weeks and now you are doing the exact same thing everyone in our alliance said you would, Called in the rest of the CFC.
We have been dropping poses and sbus. We dont want your space, but its fun to watch or hear about how you had to form up the entire CFC and waste 5 hours of your time to remove them.

Mr Varesk,
Feel free to ignore this advice, but I've generally found it's generally not a good idea to play the enemy's game.
Forming up multiple 250-person fleets and outnumbering the enemy sufficiently so they form up on a Titan and then, seeing your numbers, blueball you is exactly the style of warfare that makes enemies like Space Monkeys dangerous to space- or moon-holding entities.
For those of you who keep score at home, the CFC just took some of the recently-lost moons back.
Mr Varesk and his friends formed up on a Titan and declined to engage. There is some room for debate as to whether they tried to or not, but the actual fighting was mostly some minor bombing with unimportant losses on both sides.
In short, it was all fun and games, and then BL. reinforced a tech moon. |
