What is the cheapest way to pay for Eve...and if you say Plex then please explain what activity you use to pay the bills? I am just curious? I did the math in my venture it would take me based on my skills and time 2.5 weeks of 24/7 straight mining at 1.5 mil an hour.
I can pay for Eve with money I am just curious what is the best way to get more bang for your buck? Time cards? Buying directly form CCP? etc

Money, paypal, right through website, the longer your subscription the cheaper it get.
Annual is by far the cheapest when averaged over the year. |

All of the Subscription options are significantly cheaper than buying PLEX with cash.
Annual subs come out at ~$12 compared to PLEX's ~$17.5.
If you're ISK rich enough, buying PLEX with ISK can become viable (it doesn't sound like you're ISK rich to that extent).

Nope not at all. I was just curious...it seems like even your hardcore gamers would have to spend some serious time grinding in order to play Eve for an extended time...I am not talking two or three months but say for a year.

Watch Green Man Gaming for deals on PLEX; industry (right now I pay for half my accounts with plex from industry (not mining) proceeds); credit card when I'm too lazy to stay on top of my industry. Cash isn't an issue.

No. The hardcore gamers just "come into money" magically being null sec pew-pew'ers. No high sec alts involved at all, just CTAs and piracy to make all of their money.
No, really: just read all the anti-high sec threads. So many out there that would NEVER deign to set foot in high sec, so it's all gotta come from Goonie payroll and mining their own tech moons in null.
Where else could they POSSIBLY pay for game time from???

OP... it is possible to plex from just mining. Get a retriver at the very least. In my retriver I was making a bill every 2 weeks 5 loads a day at lvl 4 Mining Barge skill.
But its a grind with no real cash to show for it if your just mining for more time to mine. |

I use Plex for both my accounts and I pay for those doing PI on 25 planets. Industry and a bit of ratting cover all the rest of my in game costs. |

When I want to PVE I can make about give or take 120-150M an hour, call it an even 200m if I pop my second account out. But it requires a lot of boring work, which is 90% of the problem Eve online has. The PVE sucks. I just pay for my account because I honestly can't be arsed to rat any more than is necessary to keep me in ships and ammo.

The easiest way to make some money is to do low sec planetary extraction. 6 planets making coolant and/or mech parts and you'll make 100m a week with barely having to manage it. Maybe double that if you actively manage it for highest yield. You just need a blockade runner and to know how not to die in low sec. |

The cheapest way to play while paying out of pocket is to buy game time in bulk. Doing that gets a discount. When you buy a whole year, it comes out to much cheaper (for example, in the US, it ends up costing $11/month instead of $15/month).
Of course, the absolute cheapest way is to PLEX your account, but for that you need plenty of ISK income (1 PLEX is about 570 mil ISK right now). Any sort of high-end PvE (including mining, missioning, nullsec ratting/exploration, wormholes, etc) can earn you the money through some time spent. Without PvE, you could earn it via PvP (ganking people, selling the loot), luck (via lottteries, and other such things) or even via running your own small in-game service of some sort.
That's about as much as I can compress an answer to "how do I earn oodles of ISK?" while still providing some sort of detail. Just don't turn the game into a job by toiling away for the ISK -- find some way to do it so you have fun, too!

I feel like being pedantic. It's not illegal, just against the terms of a contract you signed (the EULA), by which CCP's remedies are essentially limited to the termination of your account.
It will not get you, as a person, in any trouble. It will get any or all of your accounts in trouble (and possibly the accounts of your friends if you've given them ISK).
But yeah, don't do it. It's doubly silly because CCP Sreeg's anti-botting and anti-RMT efforts have caused the RMT chains so much trouble in keeping supplied that their prices are roughly equal to legitimate PLEX sales (on the few sites that still supply ISK), and far higher than an annual Sub if you're just interested in subscriptions and not ISK for spending.

Month to month is the best way. That way you aren't financially obligated to the game for more time than it takes CCP to make some bone headed patch or somebody in game gets it in their head they are going to station camp you for 3 weeks.
