The 130ish person blob atm in ASCN space is actually a combined group of pods and leftover scrapmetal thx in HUGE part to some Northern guys. Some Northern forces had come down to attack, met up w/ some E-R and friends, and we had ourselvs a nice big knockdown drag-out fleet battle.
I lost my ship, and so did many, many, many other ppl. I don't care who won or lost, but I wanted to say thanks for letting us get together for some of the most fun we've had since the CA war.
I love the fun, and don't care at all about the stats! So huge thx!

BAGGA what u mean actually got a fight, We always stay for the popcorn and fought till the last man. It was a honorable battle and woulda been ALOT better if lag was better.
NBSI fought till last ship, dunno bout iron though..

Killboards will prolly take 24 hrs to update, lots of ppl going straight to bed atm.
Our fraps ppl actually got called as primaries, which was kinda unfortunate, cuz they were down after 5 mins. I got the TS to play on top of it though ;). Lot's of cursing, confusion, and what I affectionatly refer to as "lag speak".
And no, we actually had numbers on them, they were DEFINITELY at the disadvantage in many ways IMO. Which is why I wanted to say thx for letting us have the fight! It was a ton of fun. I miss the "old" 20 - 30 minute fleet fights! It was a blast!

good form krapz..... very pleased to see the intelligence coming out.
and no, they were not heaivly outnumberd.
but none the less, from what i gather, they fought like great. kudos to you gentelmen.

We were quite heavily outnumbered and jumped into a super bubble lag fest.. Was a great fight! Props to you guys for the honor you showed. I don't even care who won it was a good time.

Hay Iron guyz, where did u go half way thru battle. I think at one point we were winning.

Oh my god <--- Podded :).
That was AMAZING, so much fun, how long did that last like 10-15 mins? That was just great fun, and no smack at all (even though i wasnt in local after people told me). Took ages to setup working with E-R and thier friends but im so glad we did it and had the patience. That was the best fleet battle ive been in \o/

Was a great fight indeed!
I tried to run frapz on it but was just to laggy, so I gave up.
I havent had a fight like that in ages, well done to everyone involved.

I take it all back, I assumed by Northern you meant another "less respected" group that wouldnt jump into you anyway.

This was the best fight ive ever had in this game in almost 2 years. 5 kill mails in one fight, and was primary only once. WoW Respect for jumping in to a superior force. AwesOmE Fight!!

Yah, teh lag was pretty intense, not as bad as it could have been, but my screen took a while to load up each time i warped back in.
In short, we had bubbles out on the gate, and 2 fleets at the gate, one @ close range, one at long We brought about 85 - 90 ppl to the fight, good mix of all ships. They had 2 fleets as well, couldn't tell you the mix (lots of tempests though) 1 warped in on our snipers, the other jumped into the bubbles.
The lag hosed EVERYBODY at first, we lost all of our main FC's, which definitely helped them out as well. Battle raged for quite some time, and the commitment to the fight was intense. No one wanted to quit, so it was a BLAST! I think it's pretty obvious everyone had fun.

and BTW Maza, E-R and BL are not Iron....
