Like I said several cans had been picked up. but if you look at the odds, over 30 enemy cans left, around 10 friendly cans left when I counted. Then look at the after battle footage equinox has in his video (it's in the video forums) and compare that to how many we started with. You can see it wasn't even losses on both sides.
Numbers aside was still an awesome battle.
Well its nearly impossible to win such a fight (on the IRON / E-R side).

Well we wanted to fight we always do, actually thats all we ever do, and having travelled so far there was no way we were going back without having a fight. We dont really care about kill/loss ratios tbh all we care about is having a good time, which we generally do with our suicide tactics -obv good to kill some ships before you die- hopefully meet you guys in the near future

Was a great fight by both sides, probably one of the longest battles I've been in since the NSA/BoB war.
Both sides did well and it was strange to be allied with E-R, but hats off to you guys for the warp in to close range. Certainly can see why you took the losses you did, but boy did you stand your ground. Very inspiring. As to the question about where was IRON after the middle of fight, that can be summed up as mostly in cloning stations.
ASC, good job you set the stage and your disposition of your forces was well done. Certainly caused us some pause, although after 5 hours no way we were leaving without fight. Once the fight started your forces did a good job of warping out and back. Was really fun and I'd love to do it all again.
For some dam reason, I lived through the whole fight literally ran my guns out of ammo and my cap. For me lag wasn't too bad till the end when I warped out to warp back in. Crashed to desktop and couldn't reload :(
To my fellow IRON pilots all I can say is thanks for the fun and stepping forward when the call came.

Was first big fleet battle for me and god i wasn't disappointed! :D
Played for jumping in and very well played once in! was alot of lag tho!

Well we expected our entire fleet to be wiped out, we said that in gang chat before the fight, "everyone expect to die". Maybe not the greatest for moral, but o well.

lmfao. I kept getting called as primary as soon as I warped back into the fight. I got out twice but the third time I was a little slow getting realigned and you guys got me. I wasn't sure who to warp back to and as you saw on the vid our TS was a bit chaotic so I didnt want to inturrupt. I warped back in at 60km from the gate and I'm not sure if that was my mistake or if you guys just recognized my name. Again thanks for the fun guys. Too bad it was all over by the time I got back with an enyo.

TBH, it was a massacre for the E-R/Black Lance/MAZA/EPIC fleet.
What happened was, Iron fleet jumped in from one system into the bubble camp, we WARPED in from within the target system on top of their snipers. A perfectly timed maneuver.
Problem was, Iron took along time to actually load up their screen (lag) 
That means our 20 BS fleet took the full might of ASCN's 45+ BS fleet, with drones out and everything. We were lagged out as well, taking losses and Iron was still waiting to get in the fight.
And we STILL got some kills   |
