The Captain's Quarters are too quiet. The same old crap is always on the big screens, there's nothing in the fridge and that goddamn door is still locked.
So, get me a cat.
Preferably one that likes to run around from time to time, and then sit on my lap for as long as I'm stuck on the sofa. A tabby would be nice... or a Maine Coon... something with personality... not one of those neurotic little freaks with no fur or too much inbreeding.
Oh, and a litter box... let's keep the place clean.... since the "domestics" still can't seem to get into my CQ anymore successfully than I can get out. 
One last thing, a small goldfish bowl with 2 or 3 goldfish happily swimming around in it... it's bad enough that I'm bored sitting around, no need to inflict that on my cat.
Please put the goldfish bowl on the coffee table in front of the sofa.
Thanks... now, get busy.

It would be cool if it had some funtionality to randomly destroy hangar items if you don't feed it.
The feeding mechanism could be somewhat like POS fueling... |

Channel 1: fish swimming in a coral reef,
Channel 2: that uber-Xmassy log fire that never burns out,

I think CCP should let you have cats in CQ..and in Pod with you during shipflight along with all the drawbacks that come with them. At random times parts of your HUD should be obscured by cat rear end, and during critial times in combat your cat should disconnect something or knock something crutial over.
Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings? |

Vanity pets sold for 10,000 AUR each. Let's do it. I can forsee fish that you have to feed for 500 each, dogs and cats &c. at 10,000, lizards in a cage for 2,000~, and maybe even something like a Kangaroo or giant turtle or Lion for 20,000.

Exactly... something else that CCP could use to "liberate" large quantities of ISK from overly rich players... since they are always concerned about creating necessary ISK sinks.
And while we're at it... AQUARIUMS.
Let's get some massive aquariums that "build" right into the wall of CQ's.
I'm sure various "Vanity" pricing could apply..... from the little "entry level" micro reef tanks, and right up to and including a tank full of the massive "Gen-gineered Quasi-Sharks" from Minmatar space.
What self-respecting capsuleer doesn't want one of those ? Think of the fun at feeding time. ; |
