Low security status has all kinds of handicaps and restrictions, so why are there no rewards? If EVE is about risk and reward, then -10 players need a reward to offset the vast list of restrictions placed on their toon.
For example give everyone with -10 sec status 200% payout bonuses on Pirate missions (like from Angel Cartel and Sansha agents), or maybe a discount on pirate LP stores. Something to make -10 cool again. |

The reward for a sec status of -5 is that people are more willing to fight you anywhere. |

The reward of low security status is having low security status. Also, the welfare office is that way ----> |

There are rewards. They are garanteed unlimited pvp if they so wish! I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannh+ņuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.....Time to die. |

So unlimited PVP is a reward? Now that's a 180* shift of what GD usually says! Things are only impossible until they are not. |

EVE is also about consequences. There's a reason your security status is low, it's a measure and a reflection of your toon's 'lawfulness' based on what activities you've decided to participate in. There are no special rewards for +10s either. High security status grants no special treatment whatsoever, but low security status means you're a threat, an outlaw, and probably can't be trusted, hence your 'exile' from high security space. And that's not even enforceable if you aren't sticking around in high sec for too long. When you make the choice to go low, you gotta face the consequences. I wanna go low myself at some stage, maybe when I'm a little more experienced. But the last I checked.... in regards to rewards, you're not missing out on anything that someone with a high security status has except unrestricted access to high security space. Correct me if I'm wrong. You don't scare me. I've been to Jita. |

as far as i can tell, i still had the same amount of fight, whether i was 0.0 ss or now that i am -10.0. corpmembers with positive ss have no more or less fight than i do.
this has to do with the activity of the area, nothing more.
i do not especially want any reward asociated with it tho, but i have to admit this would be great. |

(read this like if somebody wants to sell you something. fast. ^_^)
Lots of rewards for being -10. Much more than for being +10, tbh.
First of all, some of us are actually feared. Like ... that one guy who was moving around in his pod and saw me haul stuff in a frig ... he freaked out and warped off, because he thought i was after him. I have the mail somewhere, had him mentioned on my bio for a while. Funny story. ^_^
Then there's the benefit of actually being recognized, in comparison to a +10 who gets ignored just like every other nobody else, like ... you ? I mean ... really. We're red ! We flash ! It screams "LOOK HE'S FAMOUS!" !
Then we always have an easy way to find combat. Always ! Well ... not all of us, of course. There's no combat for those losers who hide in station, using neutral alts to seek "targets". But hey, these guys are noobs and cowards and we really ... ... we really can't blame them, really. Really ?
Really, i tell ya !
Then there's fame. If done right, there's lots ... LOTS ... of fame to be had. And money. Money ! MoneyMoneyMoneyMoney ! People throw money and ships at you !
Money, i tell ya !
Like, for example, four Cynabals. Yes. Four ! For shooting people ! For being -10 ! For not hiding ! For not needing alts ! FOUR CYNABALS ! Imagine that !
Anyway, being -10 is much more rewarding than being a +10 carebear, or +5, as reaching +10 isn't possible anymore anyway.
Ohohoh ! That reminds me ... there IS a huge reward for being +5 !
I recognize you ! And when i recognize you, several others recognize you !
Don't believe me ? Ha !
Just last week i saw a guy who was above +5 ! He had +5.1 ! Woah, +5.1 !! This small, but AWESOME fact, made me hunt him for ten minutes ! Ten minutes ! And then I finally got him in a pipe system! Ten minutes ! He would have had the ride of his life, if he would have been at the keyboard !! Too bad he missed it !
Now i hear you ask "Where's the fame ??" Well ... now he's mentioned in my bio ! And people actually read that bio ! And they laugh at people mentioned in my bio !
And there, on my bio, they see a guy with +5.1 who hast just lost his Crystal-Set ! A crystal-set ! Now if that ain't fame, i don't know what fame is !
Fame, i tell ya !

No, I mean its an incentive thing. People are much less likely to attack you on gates or stations if you are not below -5, because they would be fighting with the penalty of gate guns.
Since my entire corp is now outlaw, it does mean however that we can't trick people into shooting our one non-outlaw guy first. We have had to adapt our tactics to that reality. |

Well upon reading and thinking about it, I'd say there's not much as far as rewards to reward a -10, extra rewards from agent? ?? There are already skills books to train namely criminal connections to increase rewards just the same as a +5 hi sec missioner and I cannot get access to snake implants or other nice stuff only thru pirate corps same as you may not have access to Caldari agents we have to buy them off each other.
In a real sense -10's have more freedom cause they do as they wish damn the concern with status.
It's not like they miss hi sec too much.
Low sec has it's own rewards like higher paying PVE activities.
But let me digress, I don't think there's much of anything to do. |
