Many MMORPGs have an option that tells others you are currently afk.

something along the lines of
Player A wishes to speak to Player B
Player A sends /say Bedrock "hey whats up dude"
(In this case, perhaps in convo)
Player B has their /afk option on and sends them a polite msg.

However, Eve is not designed based on a console or a slash command type of interface. Instead, mostly everything is based on visual representation of Players. (ie, pictures in corp chat, buddy lists, local, gangs, etc).

So, with that, a visual representation of a person afk should be implemented.
However, I feel this kind of representation should only be applied to Corp Channels, and Gang channels (I just see abuse when it comes down to Local)

Here is what i'm referring to:
When you add someone to your buddy list, they have 2 colors, green or red.
What if I type /afk on:
And within my corp or gang this shows:


This shouldn't be stored in the server or in the clients machine, but just an indicator that is turned on?

Colors can be anything, obviously, here are some more.
