I however have a friendly amendment to make ... it would be good if you can color-coordinate the boxes next to the player's name to match the standings colors on overview, so when you jump in local you can see at a glance this info.
Have the AFK indicator be a unique symbol, so it's immediately recognizable, and to avoid color confusion/overload.

Busy would be very useful, you're in the middle of a mission, or you're being hunted in 0.0, you really don't want corp members asking you what you're having for dinner. Maybe have:
Online: Green
Online & Recently talking: Light Blue
Away: Grey
Busy: Red
