all i ever see is people whining about the game. well im here to say i love the game it is still in its balancing stage but the game is very good . im a lone wolf player and i have over 50skills and about to get a moa . so will some people that love the game post so at least i can come and read again. i played a few games and carebares killed them please dont let it happen to eve..
talk is cheap the cost of action is enormus

This game ROCKS!!!
As with everything, it is not possible to please everyone. I have seen most of the changes to balance this game as being large steps in the right direction.

Other than "annoing", I have never heard of any of you. You all must be new. If you haven't been nerfed or lagged or lost you Character yet it will only be a matter of time. It's funny I see where there is a link to the old Forums, the last ones were 1 month after release. Other than Lord Zap almost none of those same people are even posting anymore. I'm assuming they have gone on to bigger and better things.

As to your "new" accusations i know most of the people here. They are not new, they have been playing since the beginning.
As for me i have been here since Beta, and i love the game CTDs and all. It can only get better in my opinion.
And stop making unsupported comments. There over 30k subscribers to EVE, don't judge anything buy who you see in space. Chances are you will never meet a fourth of the ppl playing EVE

I came over from Jumpgate and I thoroughly enjoy this game.
It has a lot more depth than anything I have seen before.
My spare time has disappeared into EVE apart from this friday night when I had to watch a damn crappy dvd with the missus.
I can't tolerate much more of this togetherness, hope the server comes on line soon.

well the people here are not much for whining so you do see us much. i was here from beta phase i think 3 and i went thought all that. but i have tested alot of games from jumpgate to earth and beyond. and even with all the probs in beta i stayed. and will play for at least another year and yes i love this game i cant waits till they open jovian space and i think thier is alot the will hapen that will give the game even more fun so keep up the good work ccp good

I love the potential this game has, and what it used to have, but not the game itself. I am currently sitting in a station i have not left for almost a week now due to multiple reasons (if you knew what they were youd do the same), i basically spend all my EvE time replying to GMs in petitions.
I could be a little less bored i think.

lone gunman there is a very good reason why you dont see alot of good comments about the game here on these forums mainly because the people that are satisfyed tend to be ingame rather than here on these forums seconly a good 60-80% of the people who do post here are whiners you cannot base an assumption that the majority of the playerbase is dissatisfyed with eve based on who posts here on these forums because the most vocal part of any communty are always the ones who are dissatisfyed

I think this is a preety kool game more prefessional then any other MMORPG game ive seen till yet, I love the Resnder Engine of this game. Its true that CCP released this game a bit early but they are going a good job Fixing all those remainsing bugs. JOB WELL DONE CCP. :)

Eve is the game I have been waiting for since the good old days of elite :)
It is more visually stunning than I could have hoped for and the potential is awesome.
Before I entered the eve beta I was waiting for star wars galaxies. Now I couldn't care less about SWG. I probably wont even buy it.
Eve rocks.

Well, consider it bumped.
I've been watching these forums ever since I began playing, some three weeks after launch, and I've loved every aspect of the game.
Sure, there's problems. No game is perfect. But they're being worked on, and quite fast, considering (as a software engineer, I feel deeply for CCP for having such an incredibly impatient customer base...MMORPGS seem to bring out the worst in some people).
I even like these forums, even though their content is usually craptastic. There are always entertaining or useful tidbits to read during my short (ahem) pauses at work.
The entertainment value of this game is immense, and the beautiful part is that it mostly comes from what you put into it. My corporation may be fledgling, but the enjoyment we get from doing *our* thing is pure. We expand, and add our own content (in-game website is expanding as well, for both members and visitors...free, unlike some sites  ...yes that was a joke - I enjoyed Setec's thread as much as the next man). Any content that is introduced in the next months (or weeks, as it may turn out), is simply an added bonus.
So, here's to CCP! Icelandic software people rule (and I'm not just saying that because I happen to be one...)!

Yep - I love the game too.
I've been playing since the final Beta stage and while the game is still finding its feet, it's still way more fun than any other game out there.
Looking forward to tech lvl 2.....

hi guys jus wanted too say i 2 have been on this game since beta and ive tryed about 4 other space game from darkspace too earth and beyond and none of them have the pertshel that eve offers shore theres problems with eve but come on guys the game is one of the biggest games ive ever played and it must take s**t loads of effert from the guys at ccp too keep it going i do think they relest the game a bit too soon now ever but so what i think eve is going too be the best space game yet and theres still tons more things they bringing out 4 it THIS GAME ROCKS BIG TIME

Look to the left of the board. Under "Player Website">"In-Game Board">"Settings".
Found it yet? Take your time.
Select the character you wish to post with, and tick the "Show Race" and "Show Corporation" checkboxes.
Then go try it out in the test forums. Bottom of the main forum page.
Caldari is proud of you, citizen. Unless of course you belong to one of the other, inferior empires. In that case...er...never mind.

To post here you have to use one of your actual character names. I'll tell you, this is not the nick I used to post with on the old boards...I'm sure I'm not the only one.
I have been playing Eve, staying up ALL night(seriously) sometimes, sometimes until "only" 2 or 3 a.m. (my time, not GMT), I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly patches..
I have been here since two days after retail started, would have been sooner but that was the earliest I could get a copy where I am. I also participated in the last month or so of beta.
I have been here, I have always been here and I'm not going anywhere.
I love this game
