..Just got back from a big night and I sat down to chill out a little over some hot patch notes and I found this..
Some NPCs were giving out too much security rating gain as a reward for their destruction. They have been adjusted to the proper reward.
Can anyone confirm if this means the 750k pirates are no longer a 0.4 security standing increase because if it is then I feel sorry for all those who where planning on raising their security rating any time soon. 
Anyways.. wheres my bloody merry.

Umm, i'm worried because recently two of my good buddies felt they wanted to try out the dark side to they went down the path of -5.0 security status. They lived out in the cold dark regions of space till a empire war poped up and they where needed.
The only way they got back into the -1.9 bracket was by hammering those 0.4 750k rats and even then it took them days.
I guess if you want to try the dark side from now on it might be a very long term venture.
To that i'll just say.. BUGGER!

Your right its not worth it..
Any chance Oveur you guys have anything planned to give the pirates a way to redeem themselves so their not suck out there for days farming NPCs to get their security status back?
Also out of curiosity lets say for example i wanted to jump from -3.0 to -1.9 how long would it take me with the new changes? (lol, still a bit out of it to be doing maths)

That is exactly what I'am worried about.
In EVE online you should have the freedom to choose which ever career path you want at what ever stage in the game within a "relatively" short amount of time and not months.
Good or Evil sooner or later I and I bet many other people will want to do it all.
With the ability to adjust my security in "relatively" short time being removed in the next patch then things just got a whole lot less interesting in the universe.
Hope someone decides to have a good look into the whole aspect of pirating.
