Neither BoB nor BNC has stated any official position towards the Blood Raiders. If and when we do it'll be a CEO doing it.
Never said it was an official view. Just that a lot of BoB pilots hunted bloods.

well eve gets more ****ty every patch,..so bound to happen eventually when they ****** over a sizable part of the ppl paying for the food on their tables.
i guess only options would be to ally urself w/bob(must..resist...negative...comment) or rp say an elite wing of blood raiders assigned to disrupt everyday life in bleak lands(camping ect) and carry out pinpoint operations(wars against corps in the area). the later would actually be pretty cool imo.

I appreciate how CCP starts introducing some territorial changes. I expect to see some more changes in future when the major factions start to fight each other. I also like how new NPC stations appear in 0.0 space since this might encourage more non-alliance players to move to that regions. Some 0.0 pvpers will be happy about more fresh targets while they complain at the same moment that they can dock in stations (like in curse, fountain, stain etc).
I admit you really had more than just bad luck. You have my ooc condolence. As a Khanid roleplayer I can only hope there will be never a war with the Amarr Empire. It would be a serious drawback to me if all my stuff in the Khanid region suddenly is no more in friendly but in hostile territory. So far it seems God listened to my prayers.
Roleplaywise you could stay in the Bleak Lands trying to reconquer your old territory. From my point of view service to your faction (missions) is a part of roleplay, too. A Blood Raider roleplayer with positive Amarr Empire standings and not a positive Blood Raider standing is flawed. Correct me if I am wrong but I think your biggest problem are available Blood Raider agents. Maybe CCP introduces some Blood Raider agents in space in the Bleak Lands!?! Maybe some 'hidden' Blood Raider stations survive in the Bleak Lands!?!

This is dire news. All the more so since a friend and I were contemplating joining the ranks of the BR supporters. Not that we won't still, but as Astarte stated, I guess there is now a shroud of uncertainty as to what your future will be.
I don't understand CCP's move really. Bleak Lands was a natural low sec zone between Amarr & Minmatar spaces, why remove it? Does this mean that Bleak Lands systems will receive a general sec status boost? Will new BR NPC stations 'magically' appear smack in the middle of Delve/Querious/Period? What about the original storyline concerning the abandoned giga-entertainement complex that became the BR homebase?
It just doesn't make any sense, and pretty much annihilates the efforts of a quite a few dedicated RP'ers. A step in the wrong direction.

moving borders a bit would be a cool move, but whats happening to the blood raiders is sort of silly, they are getting moved to the other side of the galaxy! o_O
losing a few systems here and there could make sense in a way, and would just add to the RP tbh, as things would be happening etc.
but imagine if the amarr empire DID invade khanid space, and actually sucseeded in it as well, and conquered all your space overnight. would it make sense if khanid moved his people to tenal, to settle a new empire up there?

I've got to admit, I'm not exactly happy with CCP over this issue. BoB are pretty vocal about it's contempt for NPC stations and it's wish to have the bastard things removed from the game, putting them in our home region is a real kick in the teeth imo :(

Since ccp has said they need to be moved, I know a great little place that would be good for the blood raiders.
You know there is this strand of about 12 systems that is just west of immensia. It arcs up and looks like it conects to curse but does not. That area is never in use, and has access in and out of empire space from a few differnt directions.

Losing a few systems is all that's happening to the blood raiders. Oyonata, Sahtogas and one other are all they have claim to. If Querious and Delve make no sense for them to move to, where would you suggest? I think providence would be somewhat out of the frying pan and into the fire don't you think? _________________

This move is completely logical for the BR because they are the only ones that don't have their own space in 0.0, and their location is perfect.
Their eventual defeat is logical too, because a simple pirate faction taking on the largest Empire in the game is highly unreasonable, and very impossible to do in terms of game mechanics.
The only thing CCP did do wrong, and its a major one, that really kicks people in the nuts is the complete shafting of those who supported the BR.
The war should have lasted two months easily, was it even two or three weeks? Then the BR's eventual defeat could have been built up by constant and overwhelming victories through events of big battles. I've been to a lot of them, and none of them really made me feel like I was taking part in any significant battle (hunting convoys anyone?).. and even the few of them that I was in, weren't always lost for the BR supporters. So I don't feel like anything conclusive was done in the faction vs faction war.. because how much losses the BR supporters and Amarr supporters take is really irrelevant in this, right? You can wipe out Blood Inquisition entirely and that would have no effect on the Blood Raiders' assets.
The other thing is there was no reward for those helping the BR. None that I can see. Our corp has helped considerably, we have no standings boost, no module/ship gifts, no generous donations of the narcotics we sought from that area of space. Then the offer to relocate the supporters was never made even though it could have been easily roleplayed with the BR helping its supporters retreat.
Teh suck tbh. _____________________________________ Perpetually driven, your end is our beginning.

True, we didn't even get anything for that attack on Mabnen I, which provided ISD/CCP with a lot of RP material and future story possibilities.
Now it seems all our hard work is for nothing, and moving our assets 60-100 jumps into 0.0 to even be able to continue missions is quite frankly unacceptable.
Guess BR RP won't be very active the next few months...

I'm kinda sad Omir hasn't made any statements of guidance to his pod-faithful....
I mean, he kinda owes you some favors, eh?
Random Idea: for a while at least, perhaps the Inquisition would turn thier RP towrds finding Bloodraider assets and citizens who retreated and ran from battle, giving them the death thier failure deserves? Discovering and consolidating lost assets, stowing them away in preparation of the inevitable return of Sarikusa.....

Don't you guys have non-corp non-RP alts to haul your stuff?
Not an answer to the true problem but it helps the logistics.

You could hire that hauling corp to move your stuff for you? You could wait a few days until after the patch when repackaged ships become much smaller - and also I expect this corp to be one of the first to have a freighter.
I hear they're reliable. Can't remember the name though. Anyone? ------------

Here is a pic grabbed from the test server.
Blood Raiders
Unless this changes from today until the patch Tranq. you can see it lists 2 Blood Raider stations still in Bleak lands.
As for the Blood Raiders moving into Delve/Querious this is only half true since you notice none of the stations are listed in Querious space but in Delve only.
As for thier move out into our part of space it comes as no suprise. We have been freq. attacked by them in all areas of our space and tho I cant speak for my alliance or my corp I'm guessing anyone that RP's their friends would be just as welcome as the Blood Raiders that fire upon us. (no idea some out this way might be friendly to them I only know ppl that kill blood raiders and not ones that play pattycake with them)
Thi is no way an official post just some info from my pov.

Edited by: Crzycnck2 on 04/07/2005 04:34:23 You should refrain from coming to Querious. FIX will not let you set up shop here. AFAIK, we will fire upon anyone of you that enters FIX space.
