As of today, all corporations that have worked together the last few months to create and maintain a Blood Raider front, and those corps that have worked together to create an official ingame alliance, have ceased their activities. Some of these corps that worked together the last few months are Blood Inquisition, Going Limp, Clan Nosferatu, PAK, Venal Rangers, Smegheads Inc, Finite Horizon, Beer and Kebabs, and many, many more.
With the new patch, Cold War Edition, the Blood Raiders are being moved from the Bleak Lands to Delve/Querious, and the Sahtogas and Oyonata systems, former Blood Raider HQ, are being 'conquered' by the Amarr Navy. All the agents are now moved to 0.0 regions, firmly under control by Outer Region alliances and corporations.
This has singlehandedly killed the Blood Raider RP, as we are forced to move to 0.0 regions, with hostile entities about 100 times our size and we aren't exactly able to safely move our equipment, as the sentry guns will shoot us in the former Blood Raider systems after patch. A lot of our members will get trapped in our former homes, and will see all the hard work they have been doing the last few months being destroyed by this move. I've been training the skills to create an IGA for the last 6 weeks, time wasted it seems now.
The new Blood Raider territories are to be found about 60-100 jumps from the Bleak Lands, through both low sec and high sec space. I alone have to move 50+ ships and countless m¦ in blueprints and assets, and I don't even have a bad sec rating. Alot of us have -10 sec rating, and are unable to move their equipment through empire.
Coming with this is another new feature, the inability to increase our sec rating relatively fast, to be able to move out our equipment that will be stranded after the patch. It'll take countless hours to get back to a -1.9 sec rating, which is required to travel through 1.0 systems.
So, now the question is, what should and CAN we do when Cold War hits, when our ability to RP Blood Raider supporters is gone, when our source of income is gone (BR agents), our POS's are going to be taken down due to lack of activity and usefullness, etc...
The Blood Raiders have been in the Bleak Lands for as long as anyone can remember, roleplaying in the Bleak Lands has just reached new heights, people have lived in the area for months, even years and suddenly, we are forced to either start playing a completly different kind of game, or to move to a region that goes under entirely different rules and lies about 60-100 jumps away. Imagen you have to make 50-100 round trips to move your stuff like I'll have to do... And don't talk about Freighters, first of all they'll probably cost heaps of isk, second will be their speed and survivability (both almost non-existant afaik) and third, try getting through a camped chokepoint with a Freighter, especially when your only have a small active playerbase.
And to everyone that has been fighting us the last few months, I ask you kindly to not gloat or talk about a 'victory' for your cause in any way, since this is entirely CCP's doing, and frankly, we prefer constructive comments.

As of now PAK's (my) plans are not certain, although after living in the area for 8-10 months I'm very displeased on CCP's decision on the furture of the bloods. _________________________________________________________

I belive 770 mill is the price and i doubt theyll last very long in 0.0.

That does seem like a really bad move and doesn't reward you for making Eve a richer place due to your role play.

I have not rp'ed in the blood raider area too much but I trained up an alt specifcly to rp this faction. Interesting enophe this is one of the few factions that actually intereted me in rp'ing.
I am sad they they are being moved as well, thers no way i'm going to travel up to the new area.
-------------
As for moving your items you could contract out with a industrial corp to move your items. In fact I have a chacter that should be able to get into the new hauler ship soon after patch and I would offer to help move things very reasonably. Probibly 100k per jump.

This has been a twisted little war.....with more out-of-game elements involved than I want to mention here...but in the end it became a real RP struggle that we can be proud of being apart of.
I encourage you to get in touch with me. There have to be options.

Why dont you just ask the people in delve and querious if you can do your stuff there? The BoB guys are pretty decent. If you ask nicely I'm sure they wouldn't make a big fuss about it. And if they do agree, you can just petition the GMs to help you move all your crap over there.
Why dont you just DIE DIE DIE !!!!

Well said.
I do hope CCP leaves us some options but it may mean the beginning of a new road for some.

Well, after reading your post, I think the best thing to do would be to continue what you like, with the same group. Meaning create your alliance anyway but RP it a little like the Ammatar... You were once near Blood Raider, now you are the Blood Raider Exile or something.
Also, you have a big location problem. Moving everything far away on top of very hostile land is not a good ideas (like you stated). I would suggest you stay right where you are and see what will 'appear' around you (I'm thinking cosmos).
You wrote: "'conquered' by the Amarr Navy" so that make me think the sec rating will go higher (thus the talk about how hard it will be to raise it now). So, if you are 'thrown out of your space' maybe you should see what is the closest system you could go to (the closest 0.0) and move just there, what's the least jump you could go. Then establish yourself there and see what happen? You know the place already so no worry to stay close.
Maybe what I wrote don't apply because I don't know your situation BUT it seem to make best of the situation that fell upon you.
OR, you could also go on a pilgrimage. Meaning, you setup in the closest 0.0. There is nothing there but it's close to move your stuff. Then each weekend, you move 5 systems closer to the new home of the Blood (with ALL your stuff). So if it's 100 jumps away, it will take you 20 weeks or 5 months. You will reach your new home just in time for Kali on Chrismass and claim your own planet!!! LOL...
Too bad travel is so instantatneous right now in eve. Seem almost pointless to spend all this time to do such a trip, but it would be a secure trip. Moving slowly assure you don't get any surprise in the front or in the back of your convoy. You just have to have an npc station that allow you to dock each 5 systems.
I'm sure a lot of blood flowing with that patch, all around the universe... Thoses that survive will be stronger and smarter.

You may have noticed that FIX isn't keen on you guys either in a RP way. We've said over several times that we're enemies of the Bloods, and if you guys didn't listen and dismissed us (as you did), well, tough.

Neither BoB nor BNC has stated any official position towards the Blood Raiders. If and when we do it'll be a CEO doing it.

I think that was a warning not to encroach on BoB territory without first approaching them. As far as I can see they still haven't taken an official position on this so there is always hope.

Much as I sympathise with the BR RP'ers, isn't a more dynamic NPC environment/storyline something most people have been asking for for months and months? This seems to qualify, much as it may hurt the RP you've set up. Tough situation tbh

I ofc never really thought of all this, I was not under the impression the bloods were Losing the bleak lands, my Fun with FIX and the Bloodraiders was just so Some of the FIX guys who like RP inclueding myself could have abit of fun. I am sorry for what is going to happen, I can't in good faith say I like the Direction eve is going with this new patch.
I feel its turning into CS in space ( puts flame suit on ) I know people will disagree but everything seems to be geared towards combat combat and more combat, be it agent missions or Cold war. How its Players and Alliances forcing there style of play on others (do this or we crush you) RP aspect is dead, its now Killboards and regions claimed, I personnally give up on eve

While I hate to seet this great RP come to such a seemingly abrupt end, you had to know it was coming eventually. The Raiders are the only NCP pirates with sovereign systems in empire space. It just doesn't make sense that the largest of all the empires would allow them to stay. That's the disadvantage of joining a numerically far inferior cause. I wish it had lasted a lot longer than it did, but this was inevitable.
As also suggested you guys could stick around and be the Raider supporters within amarr space, but I can see how that would cause a lot of problems. Hopefully you lot can work something out and we'll see you again. _________________

I agree, as I stated, this move singlehandedly killed the Blood Raider RP front. Only a handfull of us are willing to move their stuff 100+ jumps right in the middle of 0.0 and hostile territory to be outblobbed by megacorps and outer Region alliances to travel back 100 jumps to be able to fight RP wars with 3 alliances that outblob us again. And to those that are willing I say: Your absolutely nuts!

It'll be hard to earn some isk staying in Amarr space; mining while at least 2 alliances are actively searching for you and outnumber you 4-1 (active members wise) isn't exactly efficient, rat hunting in empire, uh, no explanation needed, pirating is out of the question to and that leaves agent missions...
Blood Raider agents are in 0.0 after patch, and doing Amarr missions isn't really good when your a Blood Raider supporter, right? Besides, many of us have such a bad Amarr sec rating that they aren't able to do much missions anyways...
