I can remember it almost as though it was yesterday - the day GH-SC formed from its previous incarnation, the training corporation we called Black Monkey. I can remember coming before my corpmates, filled with excitement that we were finally ready to take on the world of Eve Online, and sharing with them the idea I had for our new corporation's name.

A year has passed, and here we are. I don't think I could have asked for a better group, and the sheer amount of pride I feel in GH-SC probably indicates there's something terribly wrong with my brain. You have taken everyone's expectations of the limits for this game, and turned them on their ass.
Thank you to our clients for hiring us. Thank you to our targets for dying to us. Thank you to CCP for putting up with us. But most of all thank you GH-SC for a fun year in Eve Online.

Yes this past year with the GH-SC has been my funnest time in EVE, and I do look forward to bigger and better things with this fine group of gentlemen.

It's been such a thrilling and wonderful ride, the joy we've spread, the happyness we've infused in our fellow EVE-players, it just brings tears to my eyes  
I'd like to thank all our friends out there, especially Marcus Ravens, god bless you man and I hope you find the justice you're looking for someday.

Yeah, a few people like myself. The Hamish Saga was the catalyst for my return to EVE.
So happy birthday, GHSC. Continue to do that voodoo that you do so well.

Darius flicked past the messages of the day after a short absense from his terminal and regular duties in FU2 for the day. Needless to say, there was mass mourning over the death of the new Amarr emperor. Darius' views on the matter wer guarded at best. One transmission also caught his eye.
Viewing the birthday message for the GH-SC, Darius smiled slightly at the corner of his mouth and opened his Coms unit.
Istvaan, I would liek to personally congradulate the GH-SC on it's birthday. This could almost be concidered a celebrity event afterall. Have fun and, most of all, keep your head clear. Strange times are ahead in the world of EVE.
Darius sent the message and leaned backwards in his chair. For some reason he could not fathom, he had a mild respect for the man, and his fellow members, despite their history and deeds that he would not stoop to so readily. On that note, he opened a murky and half empty bottle on the shelf and pored himself a short glass of the native Matari spirits his island folk liked to call Rumma, raised the glass towards the screen, then downed it in one.

I think our Impoc/Navypoc vigil at Amarr after news broke is all the comment we need to make. That I had the foresight to spot a dead man walking should be taken as an indicator of my business sense, not my guilt.
