Also, the other races deserve a e-war battleship like the scorp (obviously not with 8 medslots) like they have e-war cruisers and frigates.

Personally I think it would be nice to give each of the races a third Battleship option, Caldari should of course get a Rail based BS, something like a big brother to the moa with bonuses to hybrid range and falloff. Also this would be a good opportunity to give the other races some EW lovin'. Since, as it stands, the Scorp is really the only viable option for Bship EW.

Anyone that has been around since beta, or even the beginning of retail for that matter, knows that the Caldari race origionally was designed to be Railgun and Missle users. There are ships like the Eagle which is an awsome gunboat.
Now, Im not complaining about the missle changes, God knows I relied on my torps too much. However, It is rediculous that the new Dread for Caldari can hold a whopping one 1000mm railgun. Who the fek is going to go into XL rails (Like I planned as I am railgun specialized through alrge) when they can only fit one. Our dread is seriously handicapped compared to other races. Other race Dreads can hit Battleships with thier guns for 8k dmg while out XL torps do a whole 30 dmg.
Oh, and the 425mm railgun II is not bad, someone said earlier that they do 96dmg, that is wrong, mine average about 225dmg per shot.
Give Caldari Dread more gun slots.

They said 96 Damage Per Second, not shot.
Yes, give the caldari a rail battleship, give all the other races an extra BS too, they don't even need to have BS 3 as a req. I'd just like some variety in the caldari battleships.

If they are supposed to do 96dmg per second then it seems I am on the low end. I thought 225 was a good average per shot, but not when I should be getting 384 (96 * 4 second rof)

If the caldari get a rail-bs, then what would the other races get?
when proposing something like this I think you should handle the complete issue
because thats where the problem lies: the other races dont have a bs-gap in their profile (as far as I can think of atm)
the gallente have their drone/blaster ships, the minmatar their projectile/versatile ships, and the amarr their Tank/gank ships..
so what do you propose there?

I think the idea is good. Giving all race a third bs......this way caldari will have 2 gun boats and other races can get a ship which can do some ew.

you will have same problem with a gun boat than the new raven .... or not... with raven torp can touch frigates doing 30 damage.... or more .... and in L gun you ... never touch frigates ^^
stop that post patch whinning explosion plz...
