correct me if i am wrong these are same as any t2 item. is a long process to get them in game.
1. you have to be in the t2 bpo lottery. 2. agent has to award out the bpo. 3 winning player has to spend weeks researching said bpo. 4. winning player then gets rich selling finished item and bpc to us. 5. 6 weeks from now everyone has t2 ballistic control systems.

Perhaps. And if that is indeed the reason I can agree with that.
But considering this is a game played by people who do it for enjoyement, it would have somewhat cushioned the considerable kick in the nuts missile users got by being suddenly rendered noobs for 2-3 weeks, regardless of the fact it was necessary for the long-term health of the game. -------------

Perhaps they arent in yet because the devs realise that ravens were equally strong, possibly stronger then any other bs in the game even WITHOUT tech 2 equipment lol.
(Before you start, the recent missile boost hasnt helped matters...)
Yes i know there are more missile ships then ravens but if you totally unbalance one ship it heavily affects the game....
Of course making ravens so powerfull that they could use all tech 1 equip and still be equal in pvp strength to a fully tech 2 equipped bs was a pretty huge mistake in the first place....

Why not? Many Minie ships are just as missile oriented as projectille. how about something like, for the tech II version: +5% Projectille/Missile Damage/RoF (yes, 4x 5% bonus) and something like 3.5% for tech I version :)

I agree, same fittigns ect. as other Damage mods, but it does 1/2 - 2/3 the mod of a normal one to each, missles and guns.

No, but they might have done a social experiment.
They will wait (<number of threads about how missiles suck by raven pilot started by alts> * 7) + (<number of signed only post in said threads>) as number of days till release of BC2.

becuase ravens will be too powerful with them pre patch even more so but even post missile balance vs battleships it will slaughter em just because the raven has ALOT of cpu so it can fit alot of bcu 2 and siege and still have a shild tank. I dont want to see ravens running around able to take down a bs in 1 volley and slaughter frigs still jsut ebcause of the insane damge.

hahaha, yeah right. Why cant we have t2 dmg mods? You've seen how devistating the geddon can be Shield tank is better today cos it fixes hp fast but has bad cap effiency so shield tankers survive well in todays 10seconds gank all u can battles. Yeah about that u saying raven has alot of cpu; raven has alot cpu just like the apoc has alot pg.

Hymm, 4-5 sec rof on 6 cruise launchers is gonna be sweet. Hit 80k away for 300+ a shot. It's like 300-400 DPS, my raven bretheren really need to stop complaining, the raven has come into it's golden age of anti-bs warfare.

Ermm.. The whole premise of Concept -> Development -> Testing -> Implementation means that the intended effect of the new skills should in theory already have been known.

The T2 BCU's won't allow BS to kill as effectively as you state. Your forgetting Sig radius and speed factors. Frigs will still be laughing at Torps, and Cruise missles. and th BCU2 will be useless to Rockets as the % increases are negligible.
However it will make the BS missles more effective against BS and BC.

why? aint is what exactly your gankageddons do ?, yall do over 5k damage in total includig all lassers per hit, and thats faster then torps can go. so it will be balanced

I'm assuming you haven't flown a raven vs. a gankageddon before - until the last patch, the 'geddon just about always won.
Now, with the advent of tech 2 siege launchers, it's an even match - a raven with six tech 2 siege, a light midslot tank, and 4 BCUs (would be 5, but siege II's take too much CPU and a coprocessor needs to be fitted), will inflict less damage than the 'geddon but balances it by having a tank.
I did a 1 vs. 1 against a corpmate's tech 1 gankageddon with my tech 2 raven and won, but the margin was such that if he'd had a tech 2 gankageddon, the results could've gone either way.
Note that this is a tier 1 battleship going up against a tier 2. With tech 2 ballistics, the raven would become the favorite in the tech 2 vs. tech 2 fight, which is justified since the raven's a tier 2 and the 'geddon's only a tier 1. -Wrayeth

heh, when I started playing the general consensus was - Caldari ships - rubbish at NPCing, laughable at mining, but man can they PvP.
Wow we can shoot NPCs from a long way off now and suck veld in Jita with our Ospreys - woot.

imo these should give a rof bonous only and insted of damage incrase they should decrase the explosion radius, so no extra damage per shot to BS sized ships, more dps as rof is increased
atm a raven 1vs1 with another battleship pawns it silly, with t2 damage mods it will be the 1vs1 champ by far
i been playing aroun on sisi a lot with raven vs my thron/geddon
i can use t2 lasers and hybrids and got bs 5 on both
the mega has a range of 10km max, and t2 kitted, it cant beat a good raven setup, and that with t1 BCU
a geddon does beat the raven if its under 15km, but its dam close, and the geddons advantag is it hits mostly EM, and the raven usually only has 1 em hardener
t2 BCU are gona make this ship uber when it comes to the small fleets and 1vs1 and 1vs more

every race has tech2 damage mods for their ships, except for missiles, this is total crap, theres no reason why t2 bcu should not be in the game right now, there are faction bcu that are better than t2 out right now but they cost a buttload but still, if ravens are so uber then everyone would be flying one with 5 dread gurista bcu, but thats not the case now is it.
anyways this is just getting old, ccp just add them already. missiles have been nerfed to near uselessness now so please, just cough these mods up.. ------

Gronsak m8, you seem to be a little off on your intel at the mo so let me help you get up to date, most, with the exeption of named faction uber expencive wasp scramblers/disrupters have a range of 7.5k-20k and any 1v1 combat out of that range will just result in the mega or apoc/geddon/tempest warping off
the damage done is not automatic, it can be stopped with smartbombs and rocket/assault lanchers filled with defenders and fitted to the "crap slots" on all of the above ships, an option whict is seldom used by caldari ships as it normaly takes great skill to destroy incoming missiles with smart bombs without lessening your own firepower and lets face it you, have to be a "special" kind of caldari pilot to use up your own "good slots" with the rocket/assaults filled with defenders, and thats not even taking into account the fact that even now the missiles still take some time to get to there targets depending on range
I would also like to note that in order for a caldari ship to fit warp scramblers/disrupters it takes up one of there very precious midslots and thus weekens there sheild tank even more.
Then there is the issue of speed and agility, a cardari ship even fitted with a mwd cant outrun any other bs with the same fittings and again, fitting a propulsion mod weekens that all important tank again, as does the sensor booster you are recomending we fit so we can pointlessly shoot all them lovely targets at over 140k+ tho it does help us get our missiles off a little faster and our wait for any damage to be done that little bit shorter.
all we are asking for is an equality, nothing more e.g
surgical strike Knowledge of spaceships structural weakneses, 3% bonus to weapon turret damage of all sorts. training time multiplier 4 x
warhead upgrades Proficiency at upgrading missile warheads with deadlier payloads. 2% bonus to all missile damage per skill level. training time multiplier 5 x

i can use t2 lasers and hybrids and got bs 5 on both
the mega has a range of 10km max, and t2 kitted, it cant beat a good raven setup, and that with t1 BCU
a geddon does beat the raven if its under 15km, but its dam close, and the geddons advantag is it hits mostly EM, and the raven usually only has 1 em hardener"
I guess a bit of perspective from the other side might be helpful, here -.o
Cruise missile Raven with BCUs in all lows and tank in all mids stands a fair chance to all-gank Amarr ships, somewhat less likely to survive a close range Megathron attack. *When* it wins, these are typically close encounters, with the Raven's cap being drained empty at that point. When she loses, it's because she wasn't able to kill the paper-thin enemy ship fast enough, exhausted the cap and her tank collapsed. Tbh you never know which way it'll go.
Torpedo Raven with gank setup might have quite better chance to come out of these things alive, because she'll deal more damage while maintaining pretty much the same short-time tank (her drawback is no room for cap drainers in that configuration, so anything equipped with these is going to fold her quick)
Note though, you want to relatively gimp --in comparison to turret upgrades-- the module that affects *all* missiles and launchers, because torpedo Raven appears capable of killing other battleships in their own gank game. I don't think it's sensible... if torpedo Raven is indeed a big problem, seek the ways to fix the problem itself, i.e. the torpedoes -- cut their range or speed, or base damage or whatever. But don't penalize all ships from frigate with rockets up, because gods know the performance of smaller missiles is nothing to write home about, and t.2 damage mods are hardly going to help here even if they make it in the game >>;;

T2 damage mods, T2 shield boost amp and implants. and, somtinglike a target painter for missiles (Yes! target painters where desinged for gunnery and it does not work good with missiles )

I respectfully disagree, they are great for missiles, particulary torpedoes.
