I was wondering who is the best ship between those, except for the skills to use a deimos.
Anyone care to explain?

So overall a correct fitted deimos Vs Correct fitted Vigilant then the deimos wins?
Assuming both pilots is on the same level.

i was gonna say vigiliant, but then i looked at the ressistance..
a deimos will prolly win :)

Interesting topic tbh. I was comparing the deimos and vigilant just before the patch. Vigilant has less mass, less cap penalty with MWD and more base speed. Deimos on the other hand has HAC resistances, +25% more dmg bonus, 1 extra slot and carries more drones.
Both are very nice ships but their roles are different I'd say.

Vigilant isnt designed for combat, like all Faction Frigs and Cruisers theyll be owned by their t2 brothers and cost a LOT more to lose. (Theyre quite stylish to die in though  )
Only the Faction Bs are currently worth PVPing as there are no t2 bs.

This is a intersting one.
The Vigilant pilot pvping in such an expensive kit will have all faction gear (else it is a waste) the Deimos pilot may not...
Also if this is prearranged I'd bet on the Vigilant tbh:
4 mid slots vs 3
So if the vigilant fits ECM the Deimos would be in for a surprise. Not to mention the extra drones on the vigilant (8 or 10 heavies?)?

my vigilants info says it only has 25m^3 drone capacity :( dont know why u say more drone capacity unless its a typo and really supposed to be 250 in which case sweet!!!! goddamn need minmatar cruiser skill now
