I'm sorry but that new voice has got to GO! I want the old voice back. The new one sounds slow and kinda stupid.

I doubt they will do anything about it.
Do what I did when she got on my nerves. Hit escape, select audio tab, set voice level to 0.0.
Ah, blessed silence.
If only I could get a few real life people to shut up that easily.

Most likely, they had to get a new voice because they had new stuff to add/change and they no longer had the original samples or mixer settings saved to recreate it. Another possibility is a change of sound technicians and the original one left with the secret. Or perhaps they didn't own the copyright to the original one.
Who knows, don't care myself. For me, like most everyone else, voice volume = 0.0.

Personally I think it has to be one of the dev's girlfriends or relative or something and they didn't have the heart to tell them how much it sucked. I can't even start to believe that they would hire someone to do it and then think it was good.

Honestly, I think it's just a natural resistance to change, and at most you'll just get used to it anyway.. we'll you have to get used to it..

No, but if I was in a position to decide about a new voice, and I had a gf who would tell me she wanted to do it, then there would be a new voice in EVE.
Unfortunately, I can't do anything about in game things, and I don't have a gf.

Great patch, but that voice it totally gets on my nerves. I turned the volume down, but its not the same. I found it actually usefull sometimes.
