Ive gotten to like the new voice, especially since i realised thats shes not depressed, rather shes doing something...to herself

if i remember correctly realx mentioned that the old voice was actually computer generated.
i don't really like the new voice either, but making more and more threads about it will only take space away from the missile whi..err missile discussion threads, why not post it into the patch feedback sticky thread instead.

I really like the new voice. It reminds me of the soft clam voice of Babylon 5 computers.

The voice is too slow period . . I just know I am going to see a suicide note from the voice and have no more voice. If it was not soOOooo slooooOoow . then I would prolly have no problems to it . . most of the tiime I am playing my music any ways so I really do not hear it, bt for the moments I am not playing my music

The new voice is fine, wrangler is right, none of you like change. You'll get used to it eventually I'm sure.
Though I do have to admit that the new voice makes me think its marvin the depressed robot's girlfriend's voice... "*sigh* Brain the size of a planet and I'm warping you to the gate"

I like her, she sounds a bit breathless. And i like the little pause she makes, as i am approaching to dock  .

please change the voice. one of the things i think eve has done a good job with ( until patch ) is having a soundtrack that just goes on in the background and doesnt annoy u, which is very important with a game like this because of the amount of time spent on eve. so why change something that wasnt broke. was there ever any complaint about the old voice? prolly not. now all of a sudden theres a lot of ppl not happy with it. does this not tell u something? change it back. the bird sounds like shes on drugs and her different sentences overlap. oh yes. and thanks for ruining all of my caldari ships. (except harpy)

The new voice in and of itself is fine. It's the fact that my apoc now sounds like a breathless, masterbating, middle-aged, drugged woman that I have a problem with.

The old voice sounds much like the computer voice from star trek, and that is part of the reason I like it. The new voice basically just sucks. The new one sounds soooo depressing. Just a question for anyone 'official':
WHY, OH WHY can't we have the option of choosing which voice to use??? Some people hate the new voice, some people love it. You can suit both sides.

But, I'd like a client side only option available through the cache folder somehow to view the voice clips/files and, so long as the file is of certain paramters, size etc, we can then add a different clip.
Adding other custom events would be an update or optional patch as it's all client side stuff only.
Those Fraps videos would be hilarious.
