Edited by: Dane on 17/07/2005 10:54:17 Please...ignore us no more...talk to us...
We've been waiting and waiting for some recognition that this problem exists...so..to make it more clear for CCP, I've compiled all the threads I could find so they can see if it's an issue or not.

Now keep in mind I left out the ones complaining of network issues, disconnects etc... these were CTD's. Is this enough CCP for you to at least give us a comment on it?
**edit: If you find a thread related to CTD troubles since PATCH...please linkage them here.

Most of the crash to desktop issues are happening when in full screen, or when running another window (say for music or something), or when alt-tabbing. These are the issues of which I speak.
And please....anyone..don't say "just play in windowed mode" or something unproductive like that. Some of us like to play in full screen 1600 x 1200 as we should be able to. It wasn't an issue prior to patch for all the folks that are complaining.
Hopefully CCP will look at this collection of threads and realize it's not in our imagination.

The funny thing is that I didn't have these issues at all prior to patch. I was using a 1 year old driver for my vid card...everything was stable. 100% stable.
I'm just getting a bit sick of not getting any input from them on this. |

Unless people are willing to help with the problems they run in to by providing logs (or evidence that they are actually having a problem and just aren't griefers out to get a free ride), I wouldn't expect much.
Umm...Well...That's the point. I've petitioned..logged...over and over..Gimme some credit here and don't assume that everyone that has a problem hasn't done jack about it. |

Well.. If the new QA guy reads the forums, I hope they learn something. I can't play this way. I completely reloaded windows after formatting the drive. Using the original driver and the latest one and there's just nothing changing.
All that changed was that there was a big patch. There were no responses to my ingame inquiries.
I hope you read the comments on the account cancellation page. Your customers deserve better service and support. |

Edited by: Dane on 23/07/2005 04:09:08 If they were on it, why don't they come out and say so?
Wouldn't you if you had customers complaining?

Couldn't agree with you more. They are obviously on top of it now. When they don't say anything...don't acknowledge anything..it's hard for us to know that they are doing something.
Would be nice to get SOME sort of..."yah..we know about that..working on it" sooner than weeks later though.
But again. At least they are now acknowledging the issue and working it. Alas, I'm still not renewing. It just took too damn long. |

Edited by: Dane on 25/07/2005 09:50:50 I'm glad the other thread is getting some attention. Haven't seen much response from the Devs lately regarding the issue.
