I will be brief...
We have good friends in Xelas.
Xelas has good friends in PA.
Truth is "C" and the 20th left PA with sad feelings after the Wimbishi incident. They were allowed to "relax"in V7-MID for sometime. After that they asked PA for Tenal to be the home of the new alliance that "C" created, now known as Xelas.
Actually Xelas for its larger and most important part is ex-PA corps who left PA as very very good friends to try something new, nearby.
PA voted and decided by majority to transfer Tenal to the newly formed Xelas, on the basis of true friendship, good neighbouring, and a MUTUAL DEFENSE PACT.
Truth is that for whatever survival-related reasons the temporary then Xelas leadership became suddenly unclear and uncertain on the MUTUAL DEFENSE PACT.
Then there were rumours about BoB, more rumours about Evol and V7, rumours and more rumours...
Then some respectful Xelas members stated that they "have to look after their own survival", because "PA is weak", so forget the Mutual Defense Pact...
Then came the IRON turbulence.
Then GODS became upset about Xelas NAPing everyone and trying to become the Eve Switzerland.
Then "C" declared NBSI status...
Then sadly, Draconian was accidentaly asked to leave Xelas space by a fellow called "J. Constantine". Drac was upset and even shot down hitangel...
This morning Xelas lost S-Eviq to PA forces, the ones that gave it to her not so long ago...
I am wondering...is it BoB's birthday or something?
I know they are having a PARTY... Don't you?
To ALL involved...STOP the nonsence. Both sides (and GODS ofc) have numerous serious and grown-up players that can just talk this out.
"C", you obviously know the North has its peculiarities, and its "traditional enemies". Being a great leader and diplomat you know that NAP is a two headed sword. You know ofcourse from your huge experience that you cant have NAPs with both parts of a traditional "everlasting hate" duet. Remember -among others - the recent FoE thingie.
I think you should not let the bitterness that you - to some extent rightfuly - felt the last few weeks of your presence in PA, walk you to a path that will not suit the name you built in the Eve community after so much hard work.
After all, PA gave you the gift you asked for. You never said thank you. PA now wants it back. I think you have seen this coming from the early days, if I can recall our small "prophetic" chats in V7 correctly. You have seen it but has done nothing to stop it, on the contrary I have to say...
I have also things to say to my folks in PA. Be sure I will do so (if havent done already).
To ALL involved...STOP the nonsence.

We both know what started this war. It has nothing to do with standings. It has nothing to do with that we were busy actually building an alliance that could actually help the Phoenix Alliance you really needed it. It certainly has nothing to do with all of the other warmongering which has been occurring between various alliances in the north.
We tried for over 10 hours yesterday to resolve this in a diplomatic manner with the Phoenix Alliance leadership yesterday. They repeatedly ignored our issues and would not resolve the brewing conflict.
We have remained the whole time in Tenal. It is the Phoenix Alliance which has made a significant aggressive action against Xelas by taking the station at S-EVIQ. We tried to the best of our ability to not to start a war. You have only to look in the ranks of your own alliance to find the people who wanted this war.

I.T. your words are touching. And if that was all there was to this then it may give me pause. However, as I have many friends still inside the PA I also have a huge amount of Intel as well. I have chat logs and all that I need to give me a real clear picture of the behind the scenes PA stance. These started the day we left the PA too, not just about the Tenal issue. The reputation I established has been damaged not by my actions but the slander and lies told by the PA and their clones.
As For BoB, I laid to rest all my anger toward BoB when the war ended and since that time I have been shown more respect and concern from them and the other former enemies that we fought than I have from the Alliance and Allies I served for close to 18 months by far. ( Note: Exception to G Alliance) See the thing you people cant seem to understand is that many of BoB and Jade ect were my friends before the war. My friendship to them is not a slap against the PA its just that when the war ended I sought to rekindle the old friendships as did they. Can anyone say forgive and forget? Hell if that wasnÆt the right thing to do we in America would all be driving Fords and ChevyÆs instead of the better imports. The stupid war isnÆt worth the loss of old, good friends. They had their cause and we had ours, They fought a good fight and so did we. THE GNW IS OVER!!!!! I am not going to have anyone tell me who I can and can not be friends with. Do you understand that?
To sum it up PA destroyed my loyalty to them by their actions and words over the last weeks. You cant deny that man. Its all in black and white.
Last, I didnÆt leave the PA because of Wimbishi I left because my Corp asked me to leave. I will let them speak as to the reasons for that. But the bottom line the day they asked I listened to them and there was nothing I could say to counter their reasons. The PA leadership in part screwed me and the rest let them get away with it.
Now the Blood has been spilled the war has started and so as is my way the words will stop.

While other alliances and corps not in PA help protect PA's doorstep, we try to acknowlege and show thanks by reciprocating this help and gratitude to them.
You must appreciate that at the same time PA (and other alliances and corps) are also protecting your doorstep, yet we do not see any reciprocation of thanks or similar help from you.
So what happens is that we (and others) struggle everyday to replace lost ships through defending the borders, while you wish to sit in relative safety and enjoy richness.
Obviously this is going to create a certain amount of animosity.
But by claiming neutrality in your relative safety and times of leisure by setting sworn enemys of the North to freindly status... well perhaps it was not a politically correct thing to do and you have misjudged the symbolic nature of this gesture to your neighbours.
Perhaps if you demonstrated what you have stated in my first paragraph, things could have been different and everyone would have been happy. Perhaps what you have said about the problem in our ranks, would not have reared its ugly head at all.
I can assure you The Five will not refrain from shooting you on sight whatever color you have set them. Afterall, they believe everyone has to fight for your right to mine crok and npcing in 0.0.
Perhaps Xelas should take the first step and reconsider the symbolic gesture which you have mscalculated and has undoubtedly upset your neighbours.

The time for diplomacy is over. Violence really is the best way to solve your problems. Xelas cant talk their way out of this one. Being napped with bob and the5 and giving them acces to your stations so they can stage attacks on your 'allies' is a binary state. Either you are or your not. I don't see room for discussion.

Exactly. If the target corporation chooses to hold professional mercanaries at negative standings "forever" after a contract, it does hurt their ability to use such mercanaries when they want to keep their own hands clean.
Of course mercanaries cannot compell their ex-targets to put them back to neutral stance (and thus the mercs can place that alliance quickly back to neutral) but when those mercs are on other contracts in 0.0 it can often turn out badly for that alliances members when they are happened across.
For a professional group like the MC, a jobs a job. Once it's over and neutral settings are re-enacted, it's over.

Personally I think denying themselves a tactical asset over "hurt feelings" is foolish, but thats me.
