You wanna kill me, find me yourself. Im not sending you an invitation.
Zarks is a member of one of a small number of corps that will go out of their way to break up a gatecamp.
I suggest you treat him with at least a modicum of respect.
Talking bout respect in a computer game....

Not true. We take things people mined hours for to sell and make isk. (And seriously, 20mill of stuff isn't much at all. A rather new player can make that in a day in empire, where as there are other opportunities in 0.0/agents were that's achievable in about 20 minutes of work, sometimes less.)
Also, I totally understand that people take this game way too personally, as displayed by your reaction to this whole situation. EVE is a living, breathing, monster of a 'virtual world', where everyone can freely choose their own paths in the universe. To me, this is why it's the MMORPG I've stuck with for the last 26 months. In the end, it's still just a game.

Yesterday I blew up a hauler in D7-ZAC. It was a cloaking Sigil with a full rack of hull nanos on the lows, so it must have been carrying uber loot...took several minutes of maneuvres to decloak him...
...packed with large hybrid ammo and snoop probes.
Other haulers I have killed in the past have dropped such goodies as 4000 m^3 of Mexallon, an AB with cap charger, large projectile turrets...you get the picture. And these are mostly in 0.0.
I've lost haulers before too, twice empty, once full of bistot. Guy who blew me up with the bistot was killed a minute later.
Sometimes someone drops some Tech 2 mods. But I've never had that one awesome kill that repays all your losses. Looks like the DNA guy got a good one, congratulations to him.
I have made hundreds of millions from mission running and investing in a corp's POS operations, a pittance from what players have dropped. Most of the time I don't even have room in cargo to scoop it.
It seems every time a carebear gets unlucky, he assumes the "other side" is raking papers. We're not. PVP, especially with T2, is an ISK sink. If it wasn't, I wouldn't have had to send a donation to a guy who lost a frig last night.

Despite what Derisor is saying, his loot wasn't worth that much. There were a few standard t1 bpo's like large hybrid ammo, a thorax bpc, couple of brutix bpcs but since I'm an ammarrian/laser user they are of little consequence or use to me.
So I may have netted myself effectively 20mil of raw isk, but usable stuff, probably only a mil or two. I left most of it behind because it was worthless to haul. -

Crappy loot from victims - the 5000 ships you lose to anti-pirate PvPers = net less. --
Want your POS to make money? Call me up. I've designed POSs that make upwards of 50m a day. |

Well that is what pirates do, call me a numpty for stating the obvious to you but pirates kill people and take their stuff. DNA have been working in the lower Syndicate region around MHC-R3 and 6-CZ49 and the surrounding systems for as long as I can remember, it is no secret that they are there and that they are very good at what they do. And lets be honest here, Syndicte is not the place to go if you aren't prepared to risk being shot down by pirates. Just be a little more careful next time, plan your trip and take the appropriate precautions, there are plenty of them.
I have never yet (crosses fingers) been shot down by DNA and I've been in and out of MHC and lower Syndicate many, many times and yes I have seen DNA gate camps many times but I'm not daft enough to jump right into the middle of them. So just be careful, very careful. Of course from time to time everyone makes a mistake, or gets plain unlucky but for the most part you should be able to get around without too much trouble, provided you fly something faster than a hauler anyway.

Piracy doesnt pay. I managed to play EVE for 2 years now without doing any "work". I had great kills, the best a taranis that had 5 bil ISK original ship-BPs. So you might ask why piracy doesnt pay? This is because you waste hours of time to get these kills that pay so good. If i would have mined or npc-hunted all these hours i would probably have square eyes - but i would be rich!

Ah well Im happy you didnt get that much.
I was having a bad night last night but today you were just too slow Had a full cargo of tech 2 armor reps too. Toobad for ya.
At any rate I dont care .. thats the game ... I was just curirous if it was the best money in the game. If like to do missions for intaki but I think Id be banned from empire and that would suck rocks. --------- The words "Exciting" and "Safe" are mutually exclusive; pick one.

my understanding is that piracy is not only not profitable, but pirates generally operate at a loss. often they have carebear alts to keep them in money.

basically all the good loot gets destroyed, yesterday 17kl mega popped, today 2 dread guristas items and every single named item (literally a dozen or so) popped, i was lucky to get one dread item so yay
as tekka said its inconsistent and its a hand to mouth existance, especially when your other account is also pvp
