If you wanted to make any deals with [5], you had the opportunity to do that before the fight, not after we start shooting you back. Never closed convo? Lag caused the window to close? That must be some bug, since a convo never, ever, closed on me before. You said that you told everybody to pull in their drones as soon as [5] jumped in? Yea, IÆll bet you did. You realized the lag was lagging out your own people, not only [5]. So honorable. Next time expect us to jump in (we always do), make arrangements with us before hand to minimize lag and we can have some fun. If you think that by deploying drones you will make us turn back, you donÆt know us very well. Arranged fleet fights with no drones are a lot of fun, ask FIX about that, but you have to be willing to fight in the first place. See you next weekend. This is what it's all about... Fighting, offcourse there is smack and flaming, I don't take all those thing serieus anymore, it more like propaganda. I find it dissapointing that ccp hasn't take any action for the fleet battle, while serveral people had warnend in official eve channels. when people finally could log back on and 5 started shooting that really sucks, but I think it's not 5 there fault but CCP fault, if they fight went through without the server freezing up, we would had a clear and fun fight.

As you could have read in multiple posts, no agreement was made. No mention on TS or chat of your request. Should you have had patience while making this request, it might have been carried out. On the other hand, drones are there to be used. Everyone does. Foundation, -V- AND [5] all use drones when in the "defending" position. Not only to produce lag (which works both ways) as you seem to try and put it, but they are a very good defense against tacklers. On a side note to that, I was in a tackler and got battle messages that I was being missed by LD's drones. So IF drones were the "killer" here as you make them out to be, then you guys are just as guilty for launching them the moment you uncloaked. This however was not popular (and on reflection rightly so) as we could not be sure whether it would be honoured on either side. Remember, 5 fleet was completely in the dark for a good 30 minutes while all this was being suggested, we were completely unaware of what the damage inflicted upon us would be when the dust settled. When 5 members were able to log in again we found ourselves holding the gate and began the process of recovering our lost cans and the cans of enemies at the E02 gate. We were also sat amongst many many enemy drones that had been abandoned at the gate. Finding ourselves in this fortunate position the 5 fleet was able to hold that gate and insure the safe arrival of our returning pilots to that gate. The whole affair was very messy. I personally have no beef with the deployment of drones. Battles of a similar size have occurred before with no problems and tbh... I don't blame FC's for using any tactic they can in a battle to gain the upper hand. I am sure we will repeat this battle in the future !!! Exciting times ahead guys. M.Corp BPC Packages

We all entered this system for a nice fight. We all see the lag and many from all sides was a bit disapointed about the lag. After reboot from system we all was a bit confused.
