My guess is we confused everyone by actually warning a bunch of people 24 hours in advance that we'll be breaking off trade links and going KOS rather than simply shooting up blues with random violence as is the fashion with most of the north 
I guess being a bit honourable in a society of dishonourable people is to actually be deviant if you follow that logic. So no wonder its a bit scandalous.
As to the point of it, well, everyone always says we are rubbish and can't fight anyway so it makes sense for us to make political statements with our shipbuilding no?
And like Wraeththu says, its a forum for press releases and news and events affecting corps. Where better to say we actually respect the leadership Cochise provided the north and don't approve of the leadership left behind in the PA?
It all makes sense to me.
And re Xelas getting kicked around their own space and PA and GODS winning the war, well, we've always backed the underdogs really.

Jade got himself banned. If his posts/comments were in accordance with the forum rules then he'd still be able to post here yes? Besides they warn people before banning. Most people are smart enough to heed them. At anyrate that's old news and not pertnant to this thread.
in my post, I wasnt threatening, I was trying to understand the mindset of a corp that spends most of it's time in empire away from combat. You certainly made assumptions about pa, occ, and it's relations with various entities. So I'll go ahead and say that you know little to nothing about what actually happens and take enjoyment out of flapping your gums around where you think it'l matter. Possibly trying to relive the glory days of the jericho forum warriors.
Since you cant really provide any military support to xelas, the only thing you can provide is supplies. It would make sense to not post that such transactions are taking place to avoid being targeted by the hostile corporations. One would only post such meaningless crap if one were in want of attention. Kinda like the steward skit on madtv, where he goes "look what i can do" and starts jumping around. Similar actions looks stupid and prove to be useless.

Away from combat? Since coming back from the north, we've enjoyed a war with CAIN, and before that, prior to the northern hullaballoo, we had a 6-week war with CVA. Since you apparently really have no clue who we are or what we do, here's a primer on JF's stance on this issue:

So why are you, and all your corpmates posting here, so steamed about it?
The reason for this press release was twofold - to provide a notice for the standings change, and to express public support to friends. And public support with nothing behind it would look rather lackluster, wouldn't it?
Re being targeted, well...the first part of my post addresses that.
As does the following, repeated from my initial post:

Ok only thing I would like to say on the JF thing is at no time would have JF set to anything other than -10. So you really don't have to add us to the whole OMG list of look who is shooting people we are going to have to set them GODS to - stat.
On the xelas alliance in my eyes no way you can spin a blue status. So i am gona have to call BS on the Blue settings reasons. But again it is after the fact now so game one.

What puzzles me here is why JF even feels a need to inject themselves into the situation in the north at all.
At least back in Jade's days there was some strategic (and entertainment) value in their positions and postings on these forums. We all had problems with Jade back in the day but his/her posts were legendary in their verbosity. Sure it tooks days to read a single thread but they were entertaining. Now we just get some paltry posts from a small corp who means nothing to the north in the grand scheme of anything.

I love how PA run their mouths tbh. 3 ATUK guys were up in Venal and killed 12 battlehsips plus loads of (more pricy) T2 ships. One corp alone lost SEVEN(7) batlleships to 3 guys. You guys flat out are nothing.

I'd be convinced I'd logged into the wrong corp chat If it turned out you guys had ever been anything other than -10 to be honest. But like the man explained we don't really live in the north at the moment so its gotta be logistical support only for Xelas presently. Of course you could always wardec us innocent rubbish industrialist types and I'd have to be really careful in my iteronV/transporter/factory wagonwotsit ship in case you caught me with a load of tech2 components on the way to market
