[271] Here's what reallu happened. I know I'm the HQ Security Officer who asked RUS Copr CEO RONIN to leave HQ last night... Here's a bit of my talks with him... Ecliptical MSG to RONIN> RONIN as you know I'm under orders to allow only one member of your corp here, Technolisa, so I would ask you to please leave... to which he responded... 2003.07.18 06:58:00 thats mean NAP with stain aliance finished? And we can kill you all? ØØCEO RUS corp then I said in pvt msg to him... You could try that, but you know the uggliness that would start. I would hope we can avoid all that, and me I'm just an officer passing on the orders that were given to me, if you dont like them, I cannot do anything about them, however u can talk to my CEO Trigger about them... We had person just tracking his movements from a distance, not engaging, or showing threatning posture. A couple of minutes of jumping around our belts and planets, he came to exit gate from our HQ (there's only one), alocked and open fire on a maller sitting at a distance, (GRILK) which was only setp for mining, as this is what this particular person does most. He destroyed that ship quickly, then both me and KiLeak another Mass member, opened fire on him, we took down his shields quickly and were already starting to do heavy dmg when he ran out (jumped) to a neighboor system, we followed, be he had logged... This is the extent of what happened. I urged him not to start this, but be assured WE ARE NOT SCARED, NOR WE'LL PAY ANY AMOUNT OF ISK FOR THIS BULL. [272] oh please put up names if you gunna make staments like that.... and tec i am a miner and have no fighting skill your ceo knows that as he killed me in a hole 3 seconds ... and as for what i do in my own system is all up to me... and we allways have guard duty its our system ofcorse we have someone at the gate please get your ceo undercontrol no one ever locked or fired unpon him he did all the firing you are a resaonable person i know but your ceo is a bit fire happy we will pay no mega and will protect our system..... |

[283] really guys, RUS is probally just bored to tears with noone to kill and figure SA would be a good way to spice up their eve lives;p hell, i was on the verge of quitting before i turned 'rat cause i was so damn bored, wouldnt be at all surprised if RUS is doing the same thing. |

[287] I think everyone here (MASS and RUS) needs to calm down and get a grip on things. Let the CEO's work it out and work together. I have always felt that RUS was a fair level-headed corp. and I know from experience that the Stain Alliance is friendly to those who are friendly, so I know that this situation can be resolved. If not, it will take a hell of a lot more than just a few corps to press the Alliance out of Stain. We are several hundred strong with lots of friends who see that we are trying to make this game more than a mining, NPC hunting game. So let's just try and get along, and not get over anxious. If you can't then don't come to Stain, whats the big deal. There's nothing here all that special anyways. I have always felt that RUS was a fair level-headed corp. and I know from experience that the Stain Alliance is friendly to those who are friendly, so I know that this situation can be resolved. [289] Well I read thru page 5... ;) Not having ever entered Stain (cos I have not mined in beta or release anything above gneiss before and to get a rifter and then plag/pyro/scord for ammo mins ;) cos I hate mining) I have no clue about any of the participants ;) But - I will say :( used to think RUS was "Rodents of Unusualy Size" Before you take umbrage :) I got that from "The Princess Bride", a kick-butt flick especially if you like fantasy and medieval legeneds etc. Shoulda known cos that was: R.U.S. actually ;P Of course Rus makes sense seeing as the people in some parts of Russia were KNOWN as the Rus (hence likely "Rus-sian" if my fuzzy memory serves me right (believe in Crichton's book "Eaters of the Dead" the protaganist travelled amoung them on his journey too) So in the words of that great Editorialist of old, Emily Litella: "Oh...nevermind" |

And for the record, Stain has proven to be friendly to an awful lot of corps, that probably wouldnt mind mining in RUS' area. Perhaps its time those people had some extra territory eh? 4 out of 3 people have trouble with fractions |
