Just generaly speaking (not only in this case) but the bad thing isnt that there are Merc Corps, its actually that there are alliances/corps who need them to do their dirty work.
That its annoymous makes it even worse.

That the employer is anonymous might just as well mean that KIA just wanted to shoot something, declared two wars and used "it's a contract" as a reason, just to cause the target factions to start throwing accusations all over the place
