You kinda missed the point Senior Darken.
If you didn't spend your time buying BPOs or filling up your wallet means that you are going to be relatively poor, if not insignificant compared to the economic powerhouses.
Now you come here arguing that you are having fun... while Seniorita Jasmine was making a statement about the economic prosperity of the Phoenix Alliance... comparing the Phoenix alliance to cavemen was only in reference to their alleged economic status and not their ability to derive pleasure from the game, in whatever activity they wish to pursue.
I think you will find that it is your bitterness and uncontrolled frustration that leads you to make these irrationally caustic posts... and miss the point in the process.
Adios.
Ok you're saying I'll be insigificant compared to economic powerhouses if I play only with my guns. That must be why you're insignificant compared to XAN and BIG. O wait... you killed them and kicked them out of their homes, and their money didnt save them. I think you're missing something in your argument.

What my argument is missing apparently is a listener that has a basic grasp of the term "context".
The context here is economy. I am sorry that i didn't add "economically" after every adjective i presented in my explanation, seems i underestimated your ability to miss the point.

Well if that is teh context you are referring to, then as you probably know, almost all corps out in 0.0 must have atleast a basic grap of running their own economy and logistics, both within their corps and their alliances. I dont see how JF can label PA as economic cavemen in that regard. As for you questioning my intelligence, I'll just let it pass.

Well then, since you are back on track, the argument between Seniorita Jasmine and yourself is wether "a basic grap of running their own economy" does put you further ahead of the "caveman" status which she used in the context of being "a bit funny by calling the PA economic "cavemen" because I was alluding to their income streams".
There is a difference between having a basic grasp and being on top of the "economic" game.

Like I said, being on top of the economic chain, means nothing if thats all you do. Evol I am guessing, can't match the industrial might of say BIG or XAN, but with the industrial base you do have and the large number of pvpers you have, you are able to crush industrial corporation with ease no matter how much money they have. And as we all know isk is pretty easy to generate nowadays. Another thing I would ask you to consider is teh state of Ms. Constantine's own corporation. They claim to be rich, and powerful. Yet their impact is mainly only felt on teh forums. Also comparing miners to "cavemen" is uttery stupid, because almost the entire mineral supply that the economy of eve uses to run itself,is mined by these very cavemen. Ms. Constatine's inability to grasp that concept, proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that her "cavemen" comment was just a juvenile attempt at flaming the PA while appearing clever.

How can a two week contract vs PA & FE end after 1 day? I mean, heck, there wasn't even a "PA is Dead for the eleventybillionth time!" post yesterday.

Edited by: KIAEddZ on 03/08/2005 09:31:43 The contract hasn't ended, had never ended, and in fact had never even a suggestion of ending.
Simply put, someone is playing "silly numpty"
KIA are employed, ALREADY paid for 2 weeks work, and are booked for the full 4 week duration.
Only if our employer tells us to walk, will the contract end early. And from my understanding of the current political environment, that is highly unlikely to happen.
www.kia-corp.co.uk http://www.kia-corp.co.uk/killboard/ is our home, and our killboard is linked at the top. The occasional check there, should ensure this type of "misunderstanding" doesn't happen again.
No other KIA member will comment on this, we will not be drawn into the flame conflict that surrounds our contract.

Lame? You know what? If I could magically drag a CONCORD billboard in front of a target to keep it from warping, I would. If I could drop a giant secure can on a target to keep it from warping, I'd do that too. Why? Because it gets tiring getting four points of scramble on a target only to see it warp away. -
We're outnumbered! That simplifies the problem! |

Edited by: Trooper B99 on 05/08/2005 11:19:35 There is nothing wrong with using one of your own ships to prevent an enemy ship from warping, it is very much a hit and miss "last ditch" proceedure to stop someone. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't.
I remember a 'Geddon I had primary scramble on. I only had a single point on him and I knew it wasn't going to be enough, so i rammed him and knocked him off alignment and kept "humping" his ship until the rest of the group was there to get morescramble on him. Doing so meant i had to stay almost stationary on his ship at 0m.
He went boom shortly after as of course, he had no tank and his can + mail showed he had 7 or 8 stabs on.
edit: However, I should add that using a noob alt for that, well, thats something completely different imho. Though often times it's a can vulture waiting for a ship to die. *sighs*

Our killboard, to be found at www.kia-corp.co.uk/killboard, is clear evidence that your statement is untrue.
We have taken time away from our contract to engage BYDI, only when their threat directly inteferes with our contract logistics or aims.
That said young sir, your time will come.

Erm well.... first off stfu with the political talk, Secondly just because the killboard would say u have been killing more PA and FE than BYDI dont mean u have been hunting us more than them. It simply means that u havent managed to kill as many BYDI - hence why there aint as many on your killboard....
