Thing is, the obvious answer isn't always the correct one. Could quite as easily be friends or enemies of PA's taking the advantage of hiring mercs to attack you as they know you'll go and blame Xelas. Nice way of focussing attention away from themselves and stirring the pot in the north.
Just something to think about as unless you have definitive proof from the hiring party or the mercs confirm any details, don't take anything for granted.

I doubt PA have much money to be honest. They are a bunch of cave-dwellers who don't understand the new economy in my opinion. Unless you can "mine it" they don't really understand it. While the serious economic powers make billions in empire with tech2 the likes of the PA oldguard scratch a few hundreds of millions with the old ways. Sad but true.

To be honest, I don't think the MC have yet been offered an "interferance contract" of that type against another pure Merc corp. They have had a contract vs/df in the CLS/VOTF war and that went well by all documented accounts. I think, and this of course subject to change and verification, it's a no-one has asked about such a contract so it's a null and void question.
Besides, the official PA stance is still -9.5 towards all corporations in the MC and who knows how that could effect negotiations.

Lol your bitterness and absolute hatred for the PA is amusing. The name calling is ven more amusing, considering you so often claim that you have "class" and "style", both of which are lacking in this quoted post.
Further more, if the PA is so backward and you are riding the crest of modernity, how come your alliance didnt last more than 4 months and the PA is still here? They must be doing something right eh?

It was actually a fairly dispassionate assessment of the Pheonix Alliance's economic power and disposable income mr Two. Okay so I was trying to be a bit funny by calling the PA economic "cavemen" because I was alluding to their income streams being all about rocks (roids) rather than the extremely lucretive tech2 ship and module industries that the other powers of the galaxy tend to run.
Obviously to my eyes rock income is marginal and a slave to market trends and easy to interrupt whereas tech2 income is general invulnerable because even in wartime the principles simply shift their operations to npc corp transports and buy orders and keep on building.
So I refute your suggestion that I'm posting with bitterness (what is there to be bitter about?) or hatred (what is there to hate?) Its just a big 'oll wargame and I'm happy to admit that on the ooc forum mate. All I was saying in response to some guy that was asking "what if" (the PA hired mercs) is that I don't honestly see the PA as an economic powerhouse with the capability to competitively tender for good quality mercenary services.
Now thats just an opinion mr Two, we all have 'em, and we all have a right to express them. Maybe I'm right, maybe I'm wrong, but its my assessment of the situation.
Also of course as Wraeththu points out virtually none of the Jericho bpos came from the lottery. Its a pretty much open secret we made untold billions selling interceptors to the participants of the Great Northern War. "go crow interceptor!" That was just wise investment on the part of our industrial people and while the flames and froth of the GNW went around some of our calmer minds worked out how to become a technology supercorp on the proceeds. I've got nothing to do with any of that side of things but I was dead impressed when the implications got explained to me ... cheap sexy ships for freespace radical revolutionaries!
As for the Star Fraction thing mr Two, well we gave it a go, it was fun for a while and then it wasn't working so we dropped it. Maybe we'll try it again oneday but the main reason we dropped the alliance ident was to make declaring war cheaper. No point paying 50m to wardec a corp when you can do it for 1m is there. And before you say "omg but ur rich why would you care!" - lol, didn't your daddy tell you getting rich is about counting the pennies a bit.
But seriously, whats the point of clinging to an identity regardless even when its hurting you? Jericho is my corp and thats what I care about.

There is a difference between having a basic grasp and being on top of the "economic" game.
Like I said, being on top of the economic chain, means nothing if thats all you do. Evol I am guessing, can't match the industrial might of say BIG or XAN, but with the industrial base you do have and the large number of pvpers you have, you are able to crush industrial corporation with ease no matter how much money they have. And as we all know isk is pretty easy to generate nowadays. Another thing I would ask you to consider is teh state of Ms. Constantine's own corporation. They claim to be rich, and powerful. Yet their impact is mainly only felt on teh forums. Also comparing miners to "cavemen" is uttery stupid, because almost the entire mineral supply that the economy of eve uses to run itself,is mined by these very cavemen. Ms. Constatine's inability to grasp that concept, proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that her "cavemen" comment was just a juvenile attempt at flaming the PA while appearing clever.

The contract hasn't ended, had never ended, and in fact had never even a suggestion of ending.
Simply put, someone is playing "silly numpty"
KIA are employed, ALREADY paid for 2 weeks work, and are booked for the full 4 week duration.
Only if our employer tells us to walk, will the contract end early. And from my understanding of the current political environment, that is highly unlikely to happen.

Lame? You know what? If I could magically drag a CONCORD billboard in front of a target to keep it from warping, I would. If I could drop a giant secure can on a target to keep it from warping, I'd do that too. Why? Because it gets tiring getting four points of scramble on a target only to see it warp away.

There is nothing wrong with using one of your own ships to prevent an enemy ship from warping, it is very much a hit and miss "last ditch" proceedure to stop someone. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't.
I remember a 'Geddon I had primary scramble on. I only had a single point on him and I knew it wasn't going to be enough, so i rammed him and knocked him off alignment and kept "humping" his ship until the rest of the group was there to get morescramble on him. Doing so meant i had to stay almost stationary on his ship at 0m.
He went boom shortly after as of course, he had no tank and his can + mail showed he had 7 or 8 stabs on.
edit: However, I should add that using a noob alt for that, well, thats something completely different imho. Though often times it's a can vulture waiting for a ship to die. *sighs*

I have to backup the fact that Kia are more interested in BYDI than go after their contract targets.
They are even warning their contract targets that we are coming..
When we approach p3 in a big gang sometimes a KIA member or 2 jump in with a fast ship and shout BYDI BYDI in local..
They cant kill the big fleets alone and therefore we cant do it either it seems..
And remember..The times you have warned FIX you have also warned F-E members in local..
As for the killboard proof..There aren`t many BYDI there cause you wont fight us unless you are 100% sure to win..

we fought 21 vs 11 and lost/warped off and you knew what we had, and we didnt even know you were there
