This fund would be accessible at a special DED space site in a 1.0 system, there would be a special acceleration gate that would only open at predefined times (n+1 each day so that all time zones get a chance over the course of a month), this gate would only allow T1 fit T1 frigs (no T2, no named items, no faction, no office). Once the gate opens anyone at the gate could activate it for a period of 5min. They all get warped to a site and after the initial 5min gate timer finishes it's a mega-thunderdome. Last ship to leave the site wins the pot Why T1 fit T1 ships? because then it's open to the most amount of people possible Also, complaints about the implementation would lead to the shutupalready tax too.

Let these leet PVPers and renters work for their food. Of course, all those killboards... oh the horrors... Therefore, a 2nd thing: Make ALL resources in the game finite. Systems where belts can be permanently mined out. Moons that can be sucked dry. Mission NPC rats that, after being defeated by every mission runner and his alt, that decide to leave (and mission agents saying "I don't have work for you right now, the Serpentis/Guristas/Sansha have pulled out from this region"). Even stations would be limited to how many offices there can be, and a limitation to how many open bays they have for docking, and how much you can store in a hangar. Either idea will stir things up a bit. But, can all those e-peeners, internet tough guys, and leet PVPers handle that? (probably not - and I expect certain nullseccers - the establishment they have become - to claim I don't know what I am talking about, while they protect the status quo only because it's their status quo).

I'd then start going on an advertising rampage anywhere and everywhere I can. More customers = More money. More money = More projects that can be completed in a timely manner. More projects being worked on = The game improves for everyone, bitter vets and newbies alike. By getting more customers to subscribe and stick around, CCP receives more income which can be used to fuel EvE and other projects. The NPE and retention *should* be very high on the list of priorities. A perfect example would be the modular POS system. CCP has already stated they would love to do it, but it would require a significant amount of dedicated resources to complete it. Resources that are busy with other things. They don't want to create an expansion where the only thing that comes is this new POS thing. More customers means more money. Money that could be used to create a dedicated development team for such a project. Trolling is like art. Anyone can finger paint, but it takes true talent to create a masterpiece.
