Hmmm... Jita average on a stock Brutix hull is 42,000,000
Heavy neutron blaster II averages 1,800,000 each, six per Brutix = 10,800,000
God knows what other T2 modules they threw in, but I'm going to guess at least three magnetic field stabilizer IIs @ about 1,000,000 each... so now we're up to at least 55,000,000 per Brutix. Realistically I'd be surprised if any of them were worth less than 70,000,000.

And eight of them fed to CONCORD for lulz. So... probably around 560,000,000 to pull off that gank, maybe more.

So: Did the freighter captain lose more ISK than the gankers? Yes. Dis the gankers make any profit? Heck no. Even after looting they're still down half a billion ISK, assuming the had backup ships on hand to carry that much loot.

So while it was successful griefing attack, it sure as heck wasn't a profitable one.

"Pwned?" I think not. I'm guessing that like most mindless leetards you just throw that word around with wild abandon and have never actually seen the chess board where that phrase was born. So let me educate you on as to why you are so blithering wrong in your application of that phrase. In proper context to "pawn" someone means to capture a piece with a pawn. Since the pawn is considered to be the lowest value piece on the chess board, to capture anything larger than another pawn is considered a worthwhile victory because you have defeated a high power unit with a low power unit. In parlance this means the same thing in other games: To "pawn" someone is to defeat an opponent more powerful than yourself through cunning & skill.

A freighter hardly counts as a "powerful" target and ganking certainly does not constitute any measure of skill. Therefore nobody "pawns" a freighter.

Come back when you've knocked out a battelcruiser mono-et-mono with a T1 frigate and then you can talk about "pawning" someone. Because that's what it actually means.

True, you got me. I wasn't quite following my own advice at the time. (ie: Wasn't in my hardwires clone) And even if I had been, you had four or five other guys nearby that could have finished the job.

I didn't say it was impossible? No just that you could make it less easy.

Now, if I had a corpmate or friend to web me into warp at every gate and/or scout... You can *still* suicide gank me. It just gets harder.
