Goons threaten me at Uedama (Freighter)

I dont want to do 45 Jump with this snail freighter. Then I arrived on stargate at Uedama. A girl approached me and she said she want to play with my big boy. She then shaked my big boy, bumping it preventing it from warping out. Extorts to pay her 50millions or her fleet will come and squash my big boy. Just the heck I don't have that much money, I just bought this thing for one and half billion. If she just let me pass to my destination and get my things then I might have that money. There's also other guy beside me riding a Propechy, asking he's going to help me by webbing it for insta warp, to do so he sent me a duel challenge so he dont get popped by concord. Since I never used and dont know this duel ****, I declined, and logged off asap before one of alt in ibis put aggro timer on me for 15 mins and I'll be a dead meat. I came back with my alt, and look around again, there's also another unfortunate guy getting his big boy shaked by her, a few secs later a group of brutix and talos (around 10 of them) appeared and surrounded him. All of them are goons http://hfimage.net/images/u6j4a2j8u45qp19jer7p.jpg Wew I'm amazed at this guy that has 5 alt accounts lol, I dont really know what happened, that obelisk suddenly gone from the map and these brutix-talos warped out. My freighter now trapped in here . Now what should I do? Get someone help escorting/webbing my big boy. Pay her 50m or what? I don't have that much money atm. Help!!!!

Maybe you belive someone in EVE will stay true to thier words but there is nothing preventing them them from blowing you up after you paid. You only really cut down thier loss by paying them.

Most freighter alts have bad navigation skills making thjeir freighters exceptionally slow on the helm. Skill yourself up and it will make it harder for them to keep you bumped. Also, do not forget your hull tanking, shield tanking and armor tanking skills. And skill hardwires for even more buffer. So if it does come to gank time, it is more difficult and expensive for the gankers. If they want to pop you in a freighter they can. But you don't have to make it easy. You are the internet equivalent of a Mars bar filled with stupid.

If hauling things is what you like to do then dont play eve, play some single player game like x3. Other then that, log on after downtime and/or web your freighter with a alt or someone you can trust.

My advice is to insure your ship, don't carry more than 500M in cargo and just relax about it all.

Log back in when you think they are not there to prey on you again and fly your freighter away. Is it better to pay them off given if you have the money? Never act weak, get serious, beg, threaten, etc.. reshipping a gank squad and getting back to your target area takes time. You don't want to waste it on someone who just kind of shrugs you off and doesn't provide any entertainment value. On the other hand if you are hauling over 1.5b or so, that might change the picture as you become viable as an ISK target.
