Have not lost ships due to this exploit, but this certainly is an exploit and must be dealt with. I would leave the game without doubt if this isnt dealt with and i become victim of it, because this problem is allready adressed to CCP.
Therefor i agree with this petition and support the cause.

Maarek Steele, you dont seem a stupid arse who doesnt know what side is his head... So why act this way? You seem to be clever enough that if you use functions that arent needed in combat (like survey scanner etc.) and you use this for a reason to end people then you using a exploit.
You notice the sound that you dont need for combat creates lag, and by using it you are guilty of breaking the TOS or EULA.
I always thought that The Gang was a united group of Pirate players who actually were real pirates and didnt hide behind exploits or bugs, and actually were out there to fight fair instead of killing sitting ducks. The way your defending exploits now gives me doubt about my vision upon The Gang, ARE YOU REALLY THAT MEANNIES!?!.

Ok, tell me how they can know names if they enter a system (offgaurd not checking local chat and noting names, else they just dont warp)... Warp, freeze before getting out of lag and come back and be a frozen corps.

Drunken, indeed it was the case pre-patch, i dunno now.. But it would make it easier to investigate.
