since i didn't read all the stuff above.
when i do piracy i kill anything that is not blue to me. since everybody and his mom uses noob alts to explore a system before they jump in with their mains i just don't have any other choice.
when i see an ibis jumping in it could be a new player, but it could be an alt scout too.
i am sorry for the newer players though.
but for a smaller corp it can be vital to hide your numbers to stand a chance.

Allow me to introduce myself. I'm the founder of the Anti-The_Goonswarm Poaster Society. In this letter, I will tell you what made me form such an organization and how I plan to use it to halt the adulation heaped upon presumptuous scatterbrains. By way of introduction, let me just say that The_Goonswarm Poaster's shell games are destructive. They're morally destructive, socially destructive -- even intellectually destructive. And, as if that weren't enough, Poaster's hypnopompic insights are uniformly riddled by an unbelievable degree of ignorance. If that fact hurts, get over it; it's called reality. And for another dose of reality, consider that Poaster has commented that the best way to serve one's country is to make widespread accusations and insinuations without having the facts to back them up. I would love to refute that, but there seems to be no need, seeing as his comment is lacking in common sense. By now, the reader has discerned that Poaster should clean up his act. So let me just add that some people say that that isn't sufficient evidence to prove that he is secretly scheming to abuse science by using it as a mechanism of ideology. And I must agree; one needs much more evidence than that. But the evidence is there, for anyone who isn't afraid to look at it. Just look at the way that because of his obsession with particularism, the poisonous wine of sectarianism had been distilled long before Poaster entered the scene. Poaster is merely the agent decanting the poisonous fluid from its bottle into the jug that is world humanity.
