Would be great! Then everyone should be able to record demos like in Quake/Doom! Very nice would be the feature that the id games have so that the game can render every frame as picture of a recorded demo. And with VirtualDub you can put all pictures together again as a movie. Then there will be no performance problems. I did this once with Doom3 and it worked great. But it's more work than recording with Fraps!

Only one problem: You would be able to spy out other players loadouts. If a person activates a hardener, it must be recorded, and if they have a plate, it must be recorded, or the recording fails. If CCP can ensure loadout confidentiality, I would love to see such a feature such as what is available for Aces High, an MMOFS (Flight Sim) that I used to play.
Another feature that I liked about AH flight recorder was the ability to record directly to a video codec, frame by frame.

But what about the skill? Any fool can press a button... 
IMHO it would be a VERY nice feature for sure but if every angle is
already there it would become a question of who's got the best
editing skills, computer, software and time.
Sorry, but I really like to see when people have made an effort or
when just cheer luck gets you that amazing clip. As with everything
else, I think you should need to work for your goal. 
But as said HELL YEAH anyway!

Imagine fighting a fleet battle without fraps, even with all effects off. All the usual info you see would just be logged along with being shown, stuff like ship positions, whos firing, everything. After the fights done u load up a seperate program, load up that info and bang your on the battlefield able to re-play the battle over and over from every angle.
