However, if all that is being saved is geometery points and ship loadouts then all you will end up with is an unedited lump of video footage that you cannot change in anyway. Unless there would be some way to export the footage once you've decided how to view it, its not gonna be very helpful for those of us making video's in Premiere and such.

KirikaPhoenix	Posted - 2005.08.14 19:10:00 - [37] It won't be saving huge files. Rather then saving the video itself, it will only store info neccasary to recreate the scene. Each EVE client stores the ship textures, sounds, models and everything. If you tell it which ships to show then it can build that from little info. So saved video's won't be huge (hopefully )

And the files downloaded shouldn't be too big, as it'll just be directions of ships etc. To replay, i guess it'll have pause/play buttons etc so you can start frapsing from it whereever you like. Stop and move camera position, etc. More thoughtful camerawork as theres no pressure of the battle? Don't be a bad loser \| DPS Spreadsheet

Demo recording ability is essential, especialy in games of this type. I pressed search on forums on this subject bout 250 times and this is something that made my day. Advance camera commands are practicly useless without DEMO recording ability. LETS MAKE THIS HAPPEN PLEASE !!!! My arse is wet !
