if it stripped people from the group yoou assigned via default user group then some config is not set right or bad API's keys
and also ues one.com dont use cronjob / dont allowed them but i can advice hostgator.com they are also really cheap but offer the most for the money "kinda to much for the money"

That is a lot, i'll keep them in mind if we move.
I dont think I was explaining the group stripping clearly
Say Person A Has Corp X group automatically assigned by the API mod and then I also assign them Group B which is ignored in the API setup and Group C wich is doesnt have an exception set up in the API mod., when I run the scrip, Person A will only remain in Corp X Group & Group B, Group C is stripped from them
Hope that makes sense |

i guess you you need to put Group C is immun list
when the scrip runs then it see persons in a group it dont have a ignore on and remove them since its not are there corp group or an ignored group |

I'm experiencing an issue with the cron, it is occasionally making members inactive even though their API is still active.
It's quite frustrating that this appears to be happening more and more often, the member count it up to around 55 so it isn't a large figure, also had 3 member from ignored group 2 of which were admins.
Please let me know if anyone else is experiencing this issue and have any suggestion as to why I'm having this problem and if there's anything I can do?

Hi ! I'm also experiencing this issue : some random user accounts get disabled, even if the API keys are correct. I have to manually reactivate the accounts from the ACP. If I hit the cron page just after that, everything just goes fine ! I'm glad I'm not the only one having this problem at least :) |

I've disabled the auto cronjob and will manually run until I see the issue happen, I don't know if it's relating to how long the job takes to run and this is causing a problem when scheduled job. |

First off I'd like to say, AWESOME JOB on this! hat's off to you
secondly, as awesome as this is, I'm having an issue sync-ing my logins. I'm working with phpBB3 as the Master with Joomla as slave and bridging with jfusion. All the names are migrating over from phpBB3 to Joomla, but not the groups. It only takes the default groups as defined in phpBB3.
I suspect it's related to the issue of the cron jobs but not figured out how to resolve it. I've tried using both the Simple and Advanced permissions in the plug-in, but it doesn't seem to fix it.
Anything you have on this would be appreciated. |

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
That's because you didn't assigned a group to your members. Maybe it's scripting error , but all you have to do is: 1. Create another Group, ex: Members 2. Go to EVE API Module -> Corporation -> Assign forum group -> Choose Member Group.
I had the same problem, and it's working now .

I copy the EFT fitting and paste it into the post, then click on the 'evefit' which surrounds the fitting text with the [evefit] and ends with the [/evefit] tags however.....the eve fitting panel is empty and the mods icons are listed on individual lines below the panel.
Any ideas how I fix this? Is there some sort of BBCode that I need to enable? I'm quite lost and really want this feature on our boards.
Thanks for all your hard work on this mod. Excellent job.

See Cyerus' post #187: "Be sure to add all the style files to the style you are using, as well as adding the fitting css file into the overall_header.html."

Excellent mod. A++
The only suggestions I can make off the top of my head is to make Avatars upload for pre-registered users once they're API verified and that an mail icon is added below each user's name which if you click it, will open up an evemail to them. |

Confirming that I also have all the SQL entries in as directed, and still have this bug:
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 4 [1064]
An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Board Administrator if this problem persists.
=======================================
That error comes up I have found at two specific things that can be replicated:
1. On a new forum account creation when you hit Submit (the account is still created though) 2. When you try to add in a Teamspeak 3 UID into your profile manually and hit submit (the UID box remains empty upon submitting)
I am not a coder, but I suspect that means this has something to do with the Teamspeak 3 module.
I'm available whenever you like for a Teamviewer session.

Love the mod so far Cyerus, looking forward to the update for Inferno.
I'm having an issue with users having their account disabled, sometimes weeks after having a functional account.
Checking back through the cron output, I've come across the following error whenever a user's account is deactivated:
05-22-2012 15:00:05 *username* EVE API error: 221 -> Illegal page request! Please verify the access granted by the key you are using! 05-22-2012 15:00:05 *username* User is a Non-Member 05-22-2012 15:00:05 *username* Removing user from Forum group -> Crimson Cell 05-22-2012 15:00:05 *username* Removing user sessions and disabling account
At first I thought the user had just forgotten to check the No Expiry check box, so had them re-enable their account with the eveapi_update.php form, but on the next cronjob, the user had their account deactivated again.
Then I came across the next problem. After this had happened a few times, I had the user create a new API key, and run the update script using the new key. Again, the user was reactivated without an issue, but on the next cron the following error appeared:
05-23-2012 19:00:10 *username* EVE API error: 203 -> Authentication failure. 05-23-2012 19:00:10 *username* Character and API settings do not match 05-23-2012 19:00:10 *username* Removing user from Forum group -> Crimson Cell 05-23-2012 19:00:10 *username* Removing user sessions and disabling account
Upon checking the user's information through the PHPBB admin panel, I found that while the script had run successfully and allowed the user to log in, it had not updated the user's API information in their profile to the new key.
This has happened to 3 users so far out of 14, all of them popping up in the last day or two, so I'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone else, or if anyone knows a way to fix it.
Thanks for your time :)

I'm thinking about removing the "Ship presented" and "Fitting Name" texts from the fitting window, because I can't seem to make it look exactly right, if you know what I mean.
Is anybody opposed to removing those 2 lines? Or perhaps any of you might have an idea on how to make it look better?
Please let me know. |

I'm having problem registering a user manually.
I've created a VIP group for adding people, who does not have an active EVE account to the forums. Using a mod to create the users from the ACP works fine.
Problem is that even with this VIP group set to ignore, the users are still being forced to enter correct API details, when changing their password for example.
Any way to get around this? I just want to be able to create users who are excluded from using API information.
Thanks |
