try lowering the starting bid by a good 1.75b, a friend bought his for a little over 1b the other day so for a bpc the price is a little steep

That low slot really make difference when fitting 6x estamel's sieges.
And 10k shield makes it great BS killer.
Just a reminder... there is no complex that drops this shiny ship.

well is allways cheaper way to get great BS killer.
no need pay 5 billion to build one, 2 billion will enouth to get good one, (i have one wich can survive battle vs 4 NPC BS's at clouse range of 14 km) and its cost just little bit more than 2 bill.
be onest 1,8 bill ,like starting bid, to high, even for this ship.

I dont think its a question of people not having money.
At your buyout price a player could buy close to FOUR Machariels.
While I appreciate the Rattlesnake is a different beast altogether - you are asking a little much.
