Greetings,
If you do run into any problems with ship spinning, do let us know and include as much detail as you can. Let us know what you were doing, what settings you might have on (stations loaded or not for example), if you have a fresh or patched installation, if clearing your cache solves the problem, etc.
Feel free to report minor issues here, but if you crash/hang or have anything more major please file a bug report with the prefix "ShipSpinning" in the Title, preferably with logserver logs and a crash dump if you crashed.
Thanks! CCP Legion | EVE Quality Assurance |

Recopy your TQ folder to the SiSi folder and download and install this patch. http://content.eveonline.com/test/evepremiumpatch292761-304168_m.exe

Mac Client
The Patch for Sisi gets into an endless loop, patching, running the client, then saying its incompatible, the patch has been downloaded, and asking to go patch again.
Id just download a complete new sisi client, but that does not seem to be available. As we are getting new Mac stuff, it would be nice to test before this build goes live..... CCP employees should never proclaim a feature to be awesome. Only subscribers should. |

We have one serious bug and two very major visual issues.
Window Resizing
This is the most urgent bug.
Whenever I dock in ship spinning mode, this occurs. I want my station services window to look like this, but every time I undock and redock it switches back to the first picture.
Please fix this super-fast. It's going to get really annoying to players if they get their beloved ship spinning back but are forced to put up with this.
CQ Positioning
You've got issues with where you put the CQ balcony relative to the ship and the rest of the hangar. This is most egregious in Amarr and Gallente stations but there are minor issues with in Minmatar and Caldari stations as well. Now that we have ship-spinning back, people are going to be able to very clearly see how much you cheated with the positioning of the CQ balcony.
This is a shot from the CQ balcony in a Gallente station (back when we had the Gallente CQ interiors).
This is a shot from the opposite side of the docking ring in ship spinning mode.
I very strongly suggest repositioning the balcony to a more realistic location. I strongly recommend, at least in terms of the Gallente hangar, moving the CQ balcony onto this crucifix-shaped structure that sits just above the main docking ring.
Perspective Issues
CCP, I've really got to stress in no uncertain terms that the way you bring ships closer to the Captain's Quarters balcony LOOKS WRONG and now that we have ship-spinning back, the wrongness has become even more apparent.
This is what a Rokh looks like in a Caldari hangar when viewed from the CQ balcony.
This is what a Rokh looks like in a Caldari hangar when viewed from an orbiting camera drone.
My honest suggestion would be to move ships viewed from the CQ balcony back to their native position on top of the hangar landing pad and stop the spinning motion, instead using the same gentle rocking motion ships do when in the ship-spinning hangar. We've got ship-spinning back - we don't need these ships to spin anymore. Andreus Anthony LeHane Ixiris CEO, Mixed Metaphor Media Consultant, Voyeur Studios |

I-¦ll forward the visual design issues but they are unlikely to be dealt with for October 18th, given the short amount of time and the scope of the change there. |

First of all: Thank you CCP, for the new (it was already there before Incarna ) hangar. I am very happy, that you have implemented this feature again. I can't wait to see this online.
I would also thank Andreus Ixiris for his analysis of the current release of this hangar on SiSi. You are right, Your described visual issues looks very irritating. But It will not depreciate my personal happiness for the renewed effective and prior usable hangar. I will use the hangar as before the, for me, unpleasant Incarna. I do not care about the view from the balcony in ship spinning mode or from the Captains Quarter. I even do not have an imagine, how it looks from the balcony in CQ-Mode. With the upcoming other CQ's, I will have a look at it. But I doubt, that the CQ-Mode will be my standard view.
I think that we can give CCP a little bit more time to resolve the optical issues of this hangar. I can imagine, that this issue was the real matter, why "THE DOOR" was implemented with incarna. The problem with the sizes of the ships from two different views is a problem, which could not be solved in a proper timeframe, when CCP wanted to bring Incarna online.
Good work for the useable hangar. But CCP should have a look at the optical issues. Maybe not today or tomorrow, but I hope; NO I believe, that CCP will find a solution which will make booth groups of the community happy.
Group one - I love the hangar and will have a look at the CQ Group two - I love CQ.
P.S.: Oh yeah! The problem with this "Window Resizing" should be resolved soon. But CCP will make it. |

OK, that's understandable. All I want to know is that they've been noted and taken into consideration. In the past, it was really hard for testers to get CCP to pay attention to small details like this - something I'm hoping has changed with the recent shakeups Hilmar was talking about. As long as I know that CCP are aware of these issues I'm fine with them not being fixed in the October 18th release. I personally think the Fog should match the race's station in a similar or the same way as before CQ was introduced.
For example in the gallente station the fog is very white in the current build. |

There's a method for being able to see the station ceiling, at least. Click and hold the left mouse button to orbit your camera "up" as far as it will go, until you're looking straight down at the dorsal surface (top) of your ship. Then click and hold the right mouse button to rotate the facing of your camera until you can see the ceiling.
The right mouse button's use in camera control is a surprisingly well-kept secret in EVE Online. No tutorial talks about it and there's very little discussion of its uses on the forums.
Here's another trick for you to try: click and hold the left mouse button and then click and hold the right one, and you'll move your camera closer or further away from your ship (or camera target, if you're in space and looking at something else). But if you click and hold the right mouse button first, and then click and hold the left mouse button, you'll zoom your camera in and out while staying in the same relative position to the ship. This can be useful if you want to see the fancy new guns up close on large ships.
Hope that helps! Andreus Anthony LeHane Ixiris CEO, Mixed Metaphor Media Consultant, Voyeur Studios |

I just tested it. Looking very good, and glad to see it back. I noticed only 2 issues upon first glance. The ship does not float on the platform, it just sits there, unnaturally motionless... The other issue is that there is a giant empty void where my CQ is supposed to be according to the view from my balcony. Please consider either adding structures in the hangars where CQ's are supposed to be, or reposition the CQ view to match up with existing hangar structures. Also, on a more minor note, I liked your earlier screenshots where you had blue arrows facing the opposite direction right above the undock arrows. This seems like a more natural placement for the exit to hangar button. But i'm not going to throw a fit over it ^^
Other than that I like what I see, and you guys now have me looking forward to the rest of incarna now that I am no longer mad about having stuff rammed down my throat. |

Just reporting some minor visual stuff;
When changing from the CQ view to Hanger view in a Republic Security Services Plant station the ship appeared way to close and almost level with the viewer, the GÇÿfogGÇÖ in the station was very thick and it was almost impossible to see any detail. When pulling back from the ship (in hanger view) one had to retreat to the full extent available to get a Rorqual to just fit in the screen real estate.
The first time I dragged and dropped a ship in hanger view the Tengu (1st ship) was overlaid by the Rorqual and both were on the pad at the same time, again in the above station.
Undocking and flying to the Fedmart Storage station (right next door), none of the above problems were apparent, the ship did appear extra close on docking but I was able to pull back much further in that station. Also the initial view of the ship seemed to be from a slightly higher vantage point.
Warping was still GÇÿhit and missGÇÖ with the graphic sometimes appearing and sometimes not, also the click and miss the window X is still there. I found if I just move the mouse pointer slowly upwards until the pointer first changes into the I beam then back to the pointer it worked every time but any higher and the X would vanish and the close click would not work.
The lighting in the CQ is back to itGÇÖs old self and makes my Avatar look like it has been in the sun far to long.
Otherwise so far no real game breaking bugs and itGÇÖs nice to see we now get a choice between CQ and hanger, much, much, better, thank you.

Gallente comparison The Gallente station environment was one of my favorites, but now it looks all pixels and stuff. Though not really all of it...just the lights, or well some of them...it seems that there's interference being picked up by the camera drones...or something...
Amarr comparison The Amarr station used to have people that knew how to fly, now they just crash through walls and self destruct...not that I don't like seeing those Amarr bastards go boom and stuff, it's just...I really used to like the station cause it seemed more alive, with NPC's flying and buzzing around...now they uhh...yeah...crash and spawn and stuff...
Caldari comparison This only kind of annoys me, I mean, I know we're in space and it is the future...but it seems as though there should be some sort of supporting structure for that...whatever it is...thing...
Minmatarr Comparison This one confuses me, whycome Minmatar have bright station when they have the crappiest lighting? I liked the grim dark classic Minmatar station, it rang true to their character and culture.
OK, so I'm very happy to have this back, but from a nit-picky, art critique, wtf, standpoint...I have to wonder what happened between the days of yore and now? I've been able to find something that just irks me in each station, though the Caldari and Minmatar are the best. Mind you those are the only things, save for maybe the heavily polluted hangers, is this part of the forced environment within the station? Or did we switch our thrusters over to diesel? I suppose I can over look that, but still.... |

Nice to see the ship in the hangar again. Nice solution to the problem.
Admittedly, it breaks immersion a little but still gives both options.
Will there be a way to select which view is the default please?
Incidentally, the hangars do seem different for different races (noticed the Amarr one looked different anyway), but the CQ still seem the dark and dull standard one. I understood from images elsewhere that Gallente will get style, Caldari get Stainless Steel, Amarr presumably something Gothic ( ) and Minmatar are left in the damp and dark.
Is that not live on Sisi yet? The Forum information suggests it is, but I just installed Sisi and all races seem to get a CQ which is just as dark |

I have completely supported this suggested change ever since the beginning. With the inclusion of hangar view, players not being able to see the details of their ship from the balcony should not be of as much concern as it was when the balcony was the only way to view your ship in station. Please fix this, it used to be the best thing about incarna, seeing the difference in the size of your ships. |

The UI design for this is being iterated upon. The button in the Neocom has downsides (f.e. it is confusing unless you know what it does), just like the current one has (as in it is not very visible). |
