On a related note, I've always wished CCP would introduce corp/alliance paid advertisements for the ingame billboards :)
Should be expensive and cover a whole region, would be really cool to see it :)

There should be some other advantages for the adds as well. For example, you see a sales add in another region and can buy or sell the product from there clicking at the link in the billboard (Dunno how far away you can remotely buy or sell already with skills, I'm not much of a trader ^^). But something along those lines anyway, increased coverage for your products.

you can not advertise another sellers stuff in the buy/sell forums.
So I am not sure just how or what this guy intends to sell in his sig.

Yeah but I think that is just to stop people spamming posts into other players auctions posting a cheaper price in their sigs.
I don't believe such adverts are expressly banned in the other forums - although I am more than happy to be proved wrong. Besides I believe he already has one paying customer who isn't actually advertising anything to sell.

zarths a friend :) the idea was that you pay to put stuff in my sig. As long as it is within the forum rules then it should be ok.
My original idea was links to corp websites (like auctions etc)

You know those Red Bull cars you see driving round, how about custom advertising paintjobs for your ships? Hell, I'm not proud - I'd fly around advertising the Holy Amarr Empire if it got me a free Megathron...
