I don't use teh market as much as many trades I'm sure but why does the market magically reset it's demand tables after downtime?
The ppl who can get online immediately after that downtime can count on having all teh things they need for sale or being purchased.
Please change this so it doesn't just reset at downtime. Mabye you could have any npc products for sale or buy orders will show up between 1 - 24 hours after the supply or demand was finished.
Or in a perfect world adjust the supply and demand according to the market. Seems like market completely resets everyday....

I noticed this the other day. Only conclusion I can come to is that some aspects of the market = gh3y.

How about having demand shift at random intervals of between 2-6 hours so you cannot be sure of when it will happen?

The market setup is obvisouly a quick and poor design decision that is having disastrous results. I pray that they have plans to make the market demands and production truly fluid based on what is happening in the universe.
The idea listed above a post would dramatically help this poor market refresh time. Instead of refreshing every 24 hours on the dot, have the time randomize between 18-30 hours from the last reset.
That way in the months it takes to create a true fluid supply/demand, the people working this design flaw to rake in the ISK have to work...just a little bit harder.

In the dev chat it was mentioned that a completly new market system is already in the works. We just need to hold tight and let them get it right ;)

If you cannot get on straight after downtime, then do as the rest of us do. Put in a Sell/Buy order at the NPC price.
