Do you pod the people that you go after? Why or why not?
Personally, I do not pod my targets, unless they are a source of annoyance to me. Otherwise, I will only go as far as destroying thier ship.

I always get the pod if possible.
1. If they've a bounty, you need to pod them to get that.
2. I've got a station container in our home station that I would like to have full of corpses (only ones I've killed myself) that I'd like to completely fill someday....
I know that any enemy I meet would gladly do the same to me, I just try to do it first

These two quotes perfectly sum up my philosophy. I've only podded one person so far, as I am still sort of a newb in Eve - and totally a n00b in PvP - but I am hoping to get more opportunities soon.

newb spy alts usaly melt in the 1st volley so i target the pod for some extra fun

I've never been able to pod, and Im not sure I'll do it unless ordered to. I'd rather see that they have to go all the way home rather than sending them there right away. I also see podding as an insult on top of injury.

I generally only fight people I don't like, so a podding goes without saying. I just hope they had implants, or forgot to get a new clone, or are a really high skillpoint character that needs to pay bucketloads to backup the brain when they respawn. If I had to kill someone for some reason other than personal dislike, I probably wouldn't pod them.

Oh here's a funny related thing... confronted with a well-known and senior official pirate once, we killed his inty and podded him; taking a nice bounty. Due to laziness we didn't leave the gate, and due to maybe autopilot or something he returned - in a newbie ship. We killed him again, but I said "Don't pod him again" for some reason. Can't remember why.

why pod someone with no bounty :)
podding actually does them a favor quick return back home rather then all those jumps in the pod.
but then again, most pirates didn't become a millionaire because they where smart.
