Yes, because 1. I want the panties 2. I'm paid to inflict as much damage as possible, and pods are often a lot more valuable than ships.

Edited by: Static Ga''lraith on 25/08/2005 12:46:41 I'd rather have the ransom but if I'm jittery about his friends being in local, I won't bother. I don't get anything out of it anyway, Ikvar always instascoops my damn corpses -

Sure, then they can't stick around in local warning people or people jumping in.
Originally by: Gift If I dont pod them, it might not fully ruin their gameplay.
That too.

I don't see the point of podding if there's no bounty - the threat is removed, so I'm happy to leave it at that.

That isn't true, what if they have a new ship very close by or in system but their clone is 20 some jumps away.

I don't generally pod because Verone convo's people to ransom the pod, they refuse and then he just kills them without telling me so I don't get a damn chance so then I scoop MY corpse from the pod I tackled and he's all like 'Omfg yuo steal my coprse!'.

Legi0n and i myself try to pod all war targets, great pilots or bitter enemies (note some people fit all 3)
only occasionaly do we pod victims of ganks and then only if they stay put and just stare at us out of there pod window.
we dont pod kill if we have agreed not to, our word is our bond
I agree that most of the time it is much better to leave the pod in space, cos its a long way home in a pod
But remember people "Smacktalk costs lives" all smacktalkers must die
ps in 0.0 there are no rules

I pod because I am paid by the "agent ***** implant cartel" to do so. _ _ How many pilots does it take to wire a Flux Capacitor? 3, 1 to wire it and 2 to talk about how the old one was better. |

I pod in most cases, but unless i'm in a frig pods are last on the list of targets.
The exception was a few days after I left PA and GODS where being real ******* and I podded one or two of them. I targeted those pods as fast as I could. _ ____ _______ _________________________________________________________

I pod mainly because why not? It's there, why not shoot at it if they aren't fast enough to warp out, really someone who is on the ball even a little should be able to get their pod in warp before I get a lock on. If they don't, well hopefully (for them) they learn a lesson.
Now if they are in a warp bubble and they can't get out I pod em anyway
No other reason other than I just want another notch on my belt.

There are three times I don't pod:
1: They warp away too fast. 2: They pay the ransome. 3: Verone gets them first, after telling me to hold fire.

And because of the above, we have Teh Lottery
So if your ever being ransomed by us, teddys and bone collectors in syndicate and tell us to **** off you will see every1 putting a number between 1 and 100 into local, the person to get the closest to the person who killed the last pod wins and gets to send you to your new clone.
We have actually become quiet strict on this and one time a winner happened to be a jump and warp away in a raven. Talk about sit back, relax and wait for the bang

I never used to pod but I do now if I am in any doubt about my target. I usually leave a good fighter's pod unless asked to pop it as I like chatting about a fight afterwards if they are up for it but otherwise I tend to pod just to be sure. Especially during wars with alt spies everywhere.
But I never go out my way to get a pod or are remotely upset if I miss one. Unless the person has a good bounty on them.

Frozen Corpses make a tastey meal when heated with a hair dryer, Not to mention all the funky things you can do with a warm corpse So ya podding is good.
