I'm leaving the game in the next few weeks (not really in a position to devote enough time to Eve which I'm finding rather frustrating) but I'd like to do something interesting with the 100M or so I have or will have by the time I quit.
Any interesting ideas (and I'm going to ignore anyone who says 'Give it to me' or 'Can I have your stuff?'

I suggest something that has already been done before.
Take the money and give like 1mil each to 100 new players. That way they can get the base skills required to start eve, and have a little fun in the beginning of the game instead of just mining.
or you could have a lottery or something with it. Split it up in to a 50mil and 2 25mil prizes.
(My stupid Ideas, ignore me if you want)

Spend it on Trit. By the time you come back to the game (and you will), it may be worth twice what it is now. :)

1. Get a thorax. Equip it with the best stuff you can get, plates, everything. Consult people on setups. Use WCS if you need to, to keep yourself alive longer.
2. In the middle of the night, get it into deep 0.0 in a populated area.
3. Kill as many ships as you can before you die. -- Proud member of the [23].

Get a hauler, fill it with as many small cans as you can, and jet 'em all by a gate in a trade hub. Repeat until it's impassable. Do the same at the other gates in system.

1. Hire a Mercenary Corporation
2. Have them take over a player conquerable station in 0.0 space somewhere
3. Fly in and rename it to anything that tickles your fancy
4. Screenshot it a few times and keep it for your memories.

Buy a lot of cruisers and fly them out to hidden (ie not at a warpable location) spots in newbie systems and abandon them there for newbies to find using the system scanner.
Maybe drop a can named something like "Lottery" or "Win a free ship" outside one of the stations with a bookmark inside explaining the situation, and saying that if someone finds it to leave a bookmark saying the ship is now gone and their name.

Buy the fastest, meanest ship you can use/afford. Go belt pirating, shoot anything that moves, breathes or blinks. Try to be the baddest scum of the Eve-niverse you can be for a final voyage out of Eve. At least, you will be remembered, in a way.
Alternative, go to a newb system, and donate to passing newbs mining in Ibises. You will make ppl happy ;)

Some extremely cool suggestions here... now I'm stuck as to which to do.
I think my first decision will be which way to go - charity or madness By nature I'm a charitable person, but I do have an urge to go out with a bang :)

A few months ago I offered to give interest on money given to me from those leaving the game, and I found one willing participant that had to leave for personal reasons and we worked out a deal. He gave me 10 million, and did something else with what he had remaining. Though obviously I'm under no real obligation to give it back, I do keep track of it and post interest payments to his 'account' regularly.
I know people have trust issues with things like this, but as other posters have stated, it sucks to come back emptyhanded. I take it a step further and say why not let it earn you some more isk instead of just letting that amount sit in your account?
I'd love to have a 2nd client. Contact me to work out an interest rate. You don't even have to work with all of your 100m, anything would suffice, as you can do multiple things with it as my first client has done.
I've heard all the flames before, so I don't care what others will say after this, the choice is yours, please consider my offer.
Good luck, and have fun!

long ago i was given 1 mil as a noob and i thought it was the coolest thing ever before i realized it was only a drop in the bucket plus giving 500k or 1 mil to a true noob will be useful, most alts dont need it since their main pays the "sugar daddy" bills
have the applicants write you a paragraph 100 words or less, it will be fun to read them and you will touch the game of others coming in and give them a good spin on the sense of community ___________________________

Organize a noob npc corp frig fight. Give each person 1 mil, should be enough for 4-5 frigs. Form a gang with all of them and let them have a FFA.

I would say do what the person said about the trit. Invest your ISK into something solid. You will come back to Eve, there is no doubt, almost everyone who has quit has come back. So be smart, invest in something like minerals or something, maybe even some faction modules (NPC changes will make them worth a LOT soon). So when you come back, whoobam! You've got twice what you started with, maybe even more.

Well, one thing I thought of when I was considering leaving one time, was buying up ~100M isk worth of Nox, and hiding it somewhere in a secure container. Then I would build a trail of Eve clues leading towards it, and set the general Eve population loose on it.
Basically each clue would indicate the location and/or container password for the next clue, sort of a galactic treasure hunt. The problem was, I could never figure out a good way to handle the clues, in such a way that someone couldn't, either destroy or take them all. That stage would have required ISD assistance.
In the end I decided to stay, so the plan never got rolling, but it could be a fun way to blow a few hundred million isk.
