i get along fine with stain. its a great place, sanshas, no PKers.... stations, refineries for all your nice loot.

I find it insulting to be called a pirate. The Sa are not pirates, just a group of like minded corps, who have sucured a region for hunting and mining. And it has been said, we are at war,any people not in the Sa, could be spies, RUS allies, RUS alts, anything. So they are asked to leave. If they dont then they will be forced to leave. This isnt some random p'king. Its simply guarding the Stain region.

I find it funny how jealous the members of the Venal alliance get whenever the Stain alliance is brought up. whats the deal? You guys are almost exactly like us, lots of times worse. We try to get people to use our "permit" system, but we usually find them breaking the rules in 1-2 days. So they are politely asked to leave if they break the rules, are pirates or are hostile in some other sort of way. We are simply protecting what is ours. If someone came into your HQ you would ask them to leave too. Now i admit there are accidents sometimes, but they are taken care of in the form of compensation, apologies, deals and what not.
So please i encourage everyone to go visit Venal region. I heard they have nice day spa's and lots of Arkanor!

TO SUMMARISE, this is what the stain alliance are, IMO
The Stain alliance are a group of people who 'know' from beta and other means what the stain region contains. It has rich ore and the pirates drop rare loot.
The Stain alliance wish to prevent anyone in the game from advancing like they have, they get all the best ore, and all the best loot and they become one of the richest players in the game.
All those guys who are new to EVE, these guys are taking away YOUR RIGHT to enter stain, taking away your right to mine bistot, crokite and get lots of rare guns, mods that you can fit to your ship.
Basically, if you got the best mods and weps fitted to your ship, collectively with a lot of people, you would surely own.
It is a pact filled with greed and denial.
THE STAIN ALLIANCE are here to stop every new corp or new guy from getting the GOOD STUFF!
If this continues, then we will have players who have never experienced half of what this game has to offer.
The only way to have such a right is to join one of the alliance corps, do you want to do that, or do you want freedom?

All true. When Stain says "Oh we're a bunch of friendly corps that banned together to mine and hunt freely and peacably in Stain" their basically saying... "Go F*** your self" 
Stain is the best real estate in EVE. Stain got the most bases and most rare ores then any other Region. Their members can mine Bistot freely and can probably generate more then 3 million ISK and hour, and they don't want you to do the same.
Don't listen to their BS public relations trife. They should just come out and say it "We're just plain greedy and we don't like to share".
Stain can build Battleships at cost that's anout 40 million to 80 million at cost for tier 1 and tier 2 ships. They insure their ships in times of war and get back around 70% of the mineral value of their ships. When they lose a ship they go back home mine bistot and get a new ship the same day or following day. 
It's really easy to act all though and powerful when you have your friends holding a net for you only 2 inches away. It doesn't hurt at all when you fall, but for guys like me you fall and you break your ass ... damn hamsters
Guys like us (freelancers) are screwed. All I can do is ninja mine crokite or get lucky and find some decent trade routes. Takes a lot of work to get my Battleship

SA are not pirates. We do not camp gates, we do not podkill (as a general rule), we do not demand 500K isk for passage.
We have merely claimed a portion of free space and have the strength to back it up.

Stain is in 0.0 space if people think the Stain Alliance is stealing there game play experience get some friends and allies and kick them out. If you can't then there is not much you can do but sit and whine.
Personally i wouldn't care if they came on these forums and cursed everyone out and said they would blast anyone coming into stain no matter who they are even the Pope, because they have the guns to back it up. Plain and simple in 0.0 space those with the guns set the rules.

lol omg, I never said stain where pirates. I never mentioned the word pirate once. I just said stain is not what they try to appear to be. Stain tries to hide their true motives of greed and power mongering with a out side front of friendship and coperation.
It's simple stain just wants to horde their bistot. Bistot is power in EVE, stain got the best real estate for easy bistot mining. Stain wants to hide this fact but you're not fooling any one except maybe the ignorent newbies. I mean how easy to stain members have it in EVE. They get at cost ships and the quickest most effective methods ot make ISK. I'm just jelous that I can't do the same with out changing the way I play EVE... I like how I play EVE

Hmm, are NPC-pirate-defence units in the game yet? Otherwise, can they make it harder for the alliance? After all, Stain is "Sansha's Nation", although it seems Sansha's true slaves has lost the region :D

I could swear you posted that Stain alliance corps. let traders in in Stain, they do not, as I have been informed, it happens that some very profitable trade destinations are in there.

I have had good expriences with stain in the past.. The corp I am a member of was in stains once without a permit mining (at that time unaware of the policy regarding stain) we weren't killed Not one of us. A huge honking fleet did show up few days in and nicely informed us that we were in there space. We left peacefully from deep in stain..
They are NOT pirates in my books based on expriences I've had with pirates. True many may not feel there tactics fair -- But they are a million times better then M0o, The Gang and a dozen more corperations out there.. And I stand with stains declaration of not being pirates. As for them being greedy, get over yourselfs -- If you could do it you would, who are you kidding. They aren't as greedy as most people in eve. Even after we breached there space(in error) and mined for a few days.. We weren't killed nor asked to give isk for passage out. We were alloted more then reasonable time to get our things and leave -- and have member offline log in and leave..
Even after all that -- The 'Stain Alliance' allowed us to return and hunt npcs, and travel throu (just no mining) In my books that makes them ok.. and not as greedy as RUS or the pirate corps wants everyone to think they are. My corp isn't a member of the stain alliance but if that was an option we would be, and be damn proud of it too. So get off of yourselfs and admit you would do the same they are doing -- (most of your do million times worst)
For the record I do not speak for my corperation. I am but a member of the corp.

Here is the question:
How would SA react if another alliance set up shop in a neighboring region and said that their region is off limits to Stain Alliance members and killed any SA members who were caught trespassing in their region?
Would SA members get upset and gripe about it or go try to destroy the players in that region?
Or would they think "fair is fair, we have our region and they have theirs"?
I'm betting that they would not like the restriction upon thier liberty anymore than other players like it when they are told they cannot do as they please in Stain. |

Stain took the region fairly.. and hold it fairly there policys are the own.. and even if they said to hell with you all They would be justified.
You either accept the rules they put in place or you attack in game...
Just like everyone else claim over a region.. You want a region claim it -- if someone comes in kill them... but if they come to kill you -- tough luck.... Eve is a anything goes world, and if there was rules put in place over that corps like the gang and M0o would be first to be hit NOT stain. I don't complain when I get attacked(I just look for a chance to get even)
For those of you few that whining here -- maybe you should find a new game to play... Eve isn't for you... Do the rest of us a favor quit or SHUTUP. Claim what you want by the guns behind you. My support in entrenched behind stain because the discusion point here is MUTE and silly. It's like canada/England/france/germany *****in that US has the prime land, and is stronger then them... Place your claims if you got the balls to hold it... Stains got there balls... so stop whinin about it.

Ask RUS - they were given ample opportunity to leave when they broke the agreement.

If we would be killed in your region without warning while we are just trespassing, then you can consider yourselves at war with the Stain Alliance.
Like it was said before, stop in a system where SA members are, talk to them in local, tell 'm where youre going and why, and you probably are allowed to carry on, eg traders, buyers are welcome.

Ok Phyo, here is a twist on the question. Say the members of this other alliance said that SA people had to ask permission to enter their region and would occassionally give permission to enter for trading or npc hunting but not for exploring or mining. How would you SA folks react to that?
Back to Rocan, you have not heard me whine once, I've merely posed a scenario and asked a couple of questions that occured to me.

One man's pirate is another man's ally and vice versa. Look up on some naval history on privateers, pirates and letters of marque. Oh btw, cant someone include letters of marque in the game so corporations can issue to them to non-members? :)
So yeah, I think you guys are privateers, but I see you are building a nation, empire or whatever. That is bloody cool, and I think the other guys are cool too, the hardline PKers who just kill people DO create tension in the game.
