first of all, if you're so poor why are you spending a monthly fee on an mmorpg? your life must be really hard when you can afford such a luxury, considering the fact that some of these people who you are accusing of staying behind just to loot can't even afford a car, much less a computer.
not everyone in america can fly to daddy's second home in aspen when a hurricane comes, some of them can't even afford a car and drive out of town.
First of all I did not say I was poor. Nor do I have a daddy that lives in aspen.
Nor do I sit ontop of a submerged 25,000.00 car out side my home waiting to be rescued.
I have a 700 a month mortgage, two car payments, and now four kids being home schooled. My little payment to CCP 14.95 is less then one hours pay to me. And it is my only little luxury I allow myself.
What I dont see is why they stayed?
Why are they stealing guns to shoot at each other? And the people that are there to help them?
On the news, no they are not going to prosecute people looting food and water, or ONE pair of shoes. They will prosecute looters of TV, computers, 20 pairs of shoes and firearms.
And from what I understand New Orleans has a real good (or had) public transportation system. All were given ample time warning to get to the superdome. Where they can be taken care of.
But why take a city bus when you have a caddy or two in the drive way.
NEWS FLASH They are loseing control of New Orleans to the criminal element.
THEY STAYED BECAUSE IT WAS TOO FAR TO WALK OUT OF THE HURRICANES RANGE!
