actually it is more like GOONS now hold all the space they want. they have no need of more. So since nobody is invading them, they are bored.
What better activity for a bored GOON then high sec ganking and scamming.

I would expect though that they will honor this white list as the majority of freighter pilots and miners are not on it. Considering all they do is set you to +5 standing if you are on the list and set you to -5 if you stop paying, it is not like they need to check the list for a name every time they gank a freighter. Just don't gank the blues.

This is definitely an isk making scheme, but not one where they will gank those on the list. Look at it more like paying protection fees to the mob, they are not actually protecting you, just not targeting you. pay the fee the goons will leave you alone. However the GOONS are not the only threat to a freighter. the Marmite Collective seem to have a very similar set up. And there are many others jumping on the bandwagon. I have even seen the Marmite Collective and GOONS going after the same targets basically fighting over it to see who gets credit for the kill.

I don't care who does what and where. We re not here to safe the world.....and beyond.... But if you re making profit in our area, we want to see isks. And when you get on one of our kills, we want isks. And if you want to **** in high sec, we want isks. And when you say the word high sec again, we want..... think you get my point.
